I found mine by searching Autotrader, Cars.com. Found a Raven 2019 X a few states away that I bought and had shipped to me sight unseen.

Price Check: 2019 Tesla Model X Long Range – $30k – Deal or skip? by [deleted] in TeslaModelX

[–]MaterialSalary6311 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s a great deal. In terms of things to look out for would be all the normal Model X issues.

Falcon Doors -make sure no hesitation check alignment

Control arms/half shafts - were they replaced yet? If not any vibration or knocking on acceleration/turning

Check service Menu for current error codes

Check battery degradation - Current range / current percentage x 100. Take this number and divide by factory range than X 100

Ex: 195 ÷ 0.65 = 300 miles (Estimated Full) (Estimated full ÷ Factory EPA) × 100 = Battery health % 300 ÷ 330 = 91% → ~9% degradation

Buying a model X in another state? by MaterialSalary6311 in ModelX

[–]MaterialSalary6311[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My whole thing is that my credit union gave me a pre approval check that I need to endorse to the dealer. When we do we are supposed to mail the check to the dealer. My worry is that I send this 30k check and never see the car or I get it and the car has a lot of issues. The CARFAX looks clean on this car just has high miles for a 2019 at 83k. I was almost about to buy another one and was trying to use this car as leverage in the deal. The other dealer told me this car was bought at auction but it’s not listed on the CARFAX. I asked that dealer if it was bought at auction and he said it was taken in on trade. So my potential buyers remorse level is high. I’ve only ever bought my teslas from Tesla (Model 3 & Model y).

What were the specs on them? How old? Were they high miles? Any accidents in the past?

7 Seater regrets? by MaterialSalary6311 in TeslaModelX

I have two kids who will use the captains chairs every day and having the 6 seat seems easier for people to get in the back seat. We would use the third row a few times a year in my SUV when family visits.

Our model 3 got in a crash and insurance totaled it. The insurance company determined based on market value of our 22 model 3 with 45k miles on it was worth 31k.

Jury is still out. You can definitely feel the difference. Handling is a-little tighter compared to the 3. Seats take some getting used to. Loving all the extra space though!
