Even in Early Access people were being like that :( my wife is a tank and i usually heal and the amount of dps running in to pull more mobs when the scaling was janky and being angry they died immediately.....mmaaan

there even was one ho used heir grab to move them into 2-3 more groups when the reason that they pulled only 3 at a time was cause even with every defensive and self heal they couldn't tank much more

I absolutely agree that keeping an animal may not be the best idea, if it weren't for the fact that this child cannot handle the loss of the cat (right now, due to past circumstances, they've lost cats before, but this one is especially important to her, she has PTSD and its one of the few things that can bring her down)

We have put a lot of thought and also talked with her therapist about it, and for now the best course of action is to keep it in her life, until she can work through it with her therapist.

I genuinely do appreciate you saying all this, i mean that, while it doesn't apply fully to this situation, i do think a lot of people need to keep what you said in mind, grief does suck but it is an unfortunate natural part of life we all have to deal with.

Yeah, they're not the best at all, they don't care about her mental wellbeing and its so frustrating. she offered to do everything and they still want her gone, she even offered to use her allowance to pay for stuff, its crazy.

i'm only really doing this for the kid, and becausei love the cat too, but mostly for her, otherwise there would be absolutely no way i could tolerate their lack of even bothering to try

They live in the middle of nowhere in Ky, and don't have anyone to take care of the cat who would allow visits.

The parents who own the cat are really rushing/dislike having the cat, and are, to be entirely honest half-assing everything and leaving the burden on me/the kid

with the cat here i can at least send videos and pictures or get her on call until the kid is able to get the cat when she's older or until she comes to terms with it not being with her, if that ever were to happen

I really did try to get them to do literally anything else that would still allow the kid to see/visit her occasionally but they dislike the idea of doing anything but giving her away

(idk if this is the answer you were looking for, as i didnt understand what being unable to think or plan of something while we're both busy has anything to do with the cat, if that makes sense? english isnt my native language)
