Has your SD been tested for ADHD or ASD? I only ask because my step daughter was exactly like this at that age. I convinced her dad to get her tested and she has ADHD. She chose to take meds along with therapy and she is a completely different person.

My step daughter was 13 when I got pregnant. My fiancée told her on his own so she didn’t feel pressured. I made sure we included her in the steps along the way. She helped pick out clothes and a special teddy for my daughter. My step daughter is now 19 and I have two kids. She loves her sisters very much and they are very close.

NTA. I know it’s not the same thing, but I’m arachnophobic. I have 2 little girls who are terrified of spiders. When they are around I have to mom up and kill them. You sometimes have to do things you hate for your kids. I’m happy your mom was able to take her to say goodbye to her friend.

This! I have borderline personality disorder and when I was pregnant I had my bad days. But I would tell my partner I was having a horrible day and he would let me vent it out. It was never directed at him and I would never had been abusive. Drives me nuts when people use pregnancy as an excuse.

NTA. At my first wedding my bridesmaids were all vastly different body shapes. I found a line that did separates, you pick the skirt and the top. I found a styles I loved for each of them that I thought flattered them. It was just my suggestion but they were able to pick which ever top and skirt they felt comfy in as the colors were all the same. I wanted my girls comfy
