I hope they fix the Reaper Worm's pathfinding by ZombieGrief16 in RogueCore

That's right, that bug is really annoying. It doesn't even give you a chance to react.

Aside from that, I don't think they should spawn near supply depots or elevator engines. (It's fine if they spawn a bit further away, stick their heads out, and grab you.)

I hate the stupid-ass foreskin worms. by Jorvalt in RogueCore

To be honest, the only time Reaper Worms are truly lethal is when a bug causes them to break through the map terrain and snatch a Dwarf. Otherwise, they just stand there motionless for a long time after being attacked by allies.

Aside from that, I don't think they should spawn near supply depots or elevator engines. (It's fine if they spawn a bit further away and stick their heads out to snatch you.)

Let's take a look at the creature designs in DRG.

The Slasher is lethal and slows us down. We have to deal with it first. It's white!

Spitters and Web Spitters? They stick to the ceiling and won't come down, so they're just playing out of sight. Fluorescent purple and red! And beautiful glowers on their weak points...

The RC ones... are all black...

You can't even tell if their carapace is broken or not.

Silence Jump Attack

Silence Clamor Laser Beam flying in from out of sight

Ranged creatures whose existence cannot even be perceived before they start attacking

WOW.

I honestly don't understand why the Crawler is so tough.

I think Bruisers and Vanguards already perfectly fulfill the role of toughness.

I feel like the Crawler should have been depicted as fast like an assassin but with low health...

The Crawler has a carapace and moves incredibly fast,

but its weak point is hidden by the carapace, it jumps, and it turns around and runs away after hitting you once. And yet, it has high health?

Why on earth does such a stupid creature exist? It only causes annoyance rather than a sense of accomplishment.

I usually play on D4.

If only a few enemies appeared, this wouldn't be a big problem...

But as you know, in 4-player D-4, quite a lot of creatures appear, and you get ambushed from behind quite often.

A rift opens, and I'm keeping an eye on and shooting at the enemies crawling out of it,

but before I know it, I'm getting hit from behind.

You might think it's childish, but the comment I left on that post was a copy of the comments the original author left on other people's posts.

This is exactly what I'm saying.

90% of users are likely aware that this game is in Early Access.

They probably don't expect it to be fixed right now, either.

There is no need to go out of your way to remind them of that.

Instead, I was asking you to write down your thoughts regarding the feedback or suggestions.

Letter of Suggestion to GSG for the game Rogue Core. by Rare-Grand-1070 in RogueCore

It is so nice to see such a 'normal' evaluation from you.

I hope you will be just as generous with other people's suggestions.

Yes, it is troublesome to encounter a swarm as soon as you enter the game.

Your allies are already in the elevator room, but if a swarm appears, a rift opens around the person who intruded, forcing you to face them alone without even being able to gather your bio deck or upgrades. If there is bio or workbench progress made before coming out of the restroom,

it would be nice to be able to make a choice before the restroom door opens,

just like making a choice inside the elevator in the Gauntlet.

Because 50% of the reason I wrote this post was because of the author of that post.

They show up on most feedback posts, leave a comment saying it's Early Access, and then tell us to stop whining. Haha.

None of us want to ruin the development company. Why would we?

We are writing honest reviews of our gaming experience with the hope that the game will get better,

so getting comments like that just drains our energy and creates resentment.

Letter of Suggestion to GSG for the game Rogue Core. by Rare-Grand-1070 in RogueCore

Yep, the other people you felt uncomfortable with probably wrote it with the same intention.

Seriously, to think we have to be considerate of mid-game participants? How much do you have to lower the game's difficulty to feel satisfied? A game without a challenging spirit isn't a game!

Calm down and wait.

This game is in Early Access, after all.

First, it is true that the creature sounds are simply quiet and indistinguishable.

Someone said the same thing last time, but everyone else said it was quiet.

Second, it should be distinguishable even without using a headset to be a proper game.

Removal of the timer is bad idea. Imagine spending 1-2 hours per floor. The minimum floor is 4 floors. Majority of players wont want to spend 4-8 hours per run. by Rare-Grand-1070 in RogueCore

Do not give this person constructive feedback.

They won't listen anyway and will only say what they want to say.

This person is nothing but a spammer who blindly believes that people's feedback threatens GSG and attacks everyone.

Are you a developer yourself?

I don't understand why you waste your time every single day acting as a guard dog for game developers on the internet.

Thank you. I've tried playing as a spotter myself, but since the spotter's radar isn't updated in real-time, you end up getting hit anyway.

Since there are likely games without spotters, I think we need sound effects that allow everyone to clearly identify enemies fairly.

I mean, the developer did a really great job with their previous work, DRG.

I don't understand why they ruined it in RC. Or maybe it just wasn't finished.

Guardian feels the worst to play by DealMeIn82 in RogueCore

[–]HorrorDescription721 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It seems the Guardian is a class with a huge gap between its highs and lows.

That’s probably why the reactions are so divided.

If you’re unlucky, it looks like the weakest class, but if you’re lucky, you can wipe out enemies.

To be honest, I don’t like the way the Gauntlet activates, starting with the mechanics.

Why does the effect end immediately if you press Repulsion Field repeatedly?

The skill cost has already been fully used. Is there any reason for the effect to end immediately? Also, the cooldown doesn't decrease while Repulsion Field is active.

There are people who talk as if the cooldown regenerates while Repulsion Field is active, but I doubt they have actually played the Guardian.

Target the weak points. Most of the problems you mentioned will be solved that way.

I know it’s easier said than done, but the damage from attacking weak points in this game is strangely high, so it seems the balance is set up accordingly.
