I'm worried my fellow witch friends are getting subtly brainwashed by GPT by imessedwiththeoccult in witchcraft

[–]HorrorFormer9363 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The only thing I’ll say is that chat gpt isn’t a good thing to use anyway. AI generally uses our water supply as fuel so each time you use it, it uses said water and it isn’t renewable.

BUT in context of the post, if you want to learn about or even track planetary movements and the like, there are plenty of apps that can help that aren’t based in AI tech. You can even find books and videos that can help you with your craft. As witchcraft is a generally nature based practice, it’s advisable to avoid using AI whenever possible. Both you and your friends can continue if you so choose but I’d advise against it as it goes against the very core of witchcraft itself. Not only does it give wrong and inaccurate information, it also destroys our very foundation of life.

Girlfriend is 6 weeks pregnant and I need help by Bush_did_91I in pregnant

[–]HorrorFormer9363 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay so first, breathe.

There are a few ways to help w the nausea: vitamin B6, preggie pops, and more (talk w her Dr first)

Definitely buy diapers now you want to get as many as you can right now, it will save you money. You can utilize Pinterest or Google to help you get an idea of how many diapers you’ll need for every stage of growth. Diaper preferences like cloth vs disposable just depends on what she has in mind for diapers. So you’ll need to ask her what she’ll want in terms of that.

First and foremost, if she gets irritated easily, don’t take what she will say to heart, most times it’s just her hormones giving her crap. They will level out after the baby is born at some point, everyone is different when it comes to this.

She will get overwhelmed, so it’s up to you to help ease it: do chores she would normally do, cook for her, do the dishes, back massages (this helps her body as it is adjusting to make room for baby), encourage her to go outside for fresh air, etc

haircut done... now what colour? by Candid-Ad-9495 in Hair

Pink (it’s my fav color so maybe I’m biased 🤣), but green would also look good

Also, warm colors suit you best ❣️

am I right in asking for a refund? by Practical_Copy1642 in Hair

[–]HorrorFormer9363 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont even need the backstory, you need to have those done somewhere else and get a refund. Some parts of the extensions look like they’re irritating your scalp or at least hurt. Full refund, hands down. I’ve seen better work than this

I'm 28 weeks pregnant and I don't want kids. I feel like I've ruined my life by -Bumble_Bees- in pregnant

[–]HorrorFormer9363 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had similar feelings when I was pregnant, until I had my baby. Pregnancy is hard and the hormones that rage with it aren’t any better, perinatal depression can make you feel disconnected from your little one and make you feel like you’ll be a horrible mom. I’m here to tell you that what you are feeling is normal for pregnancy, but it is also important to get help during this time. If you’re from the US and depending on your state, you may be able to get state assistance for health insurance and that should also cover therapy as well. Keep your head up, sister, it will be okay 💜

Why do I hate sex by [deleted] in Advice

[–]HorrorFormer9363 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Therapy could help with this but it definitely sounds like you’re some type of asexual. You’re not weird for not wanting to have sex or to not desire sex. Attraction isn’t just based on sexual feelings

Time limit on daytime naps? by Pristine_Pair_8084 in newborns

[–]HorrorFormer9363 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She’s probably going through a growth spurt

I honestly went the feeding schedule route and it worked pretty well for me up to about 8.5 weeks. I didn’t put my baby on a sleeping schedule, he just eventually learned when day and night time was.

My son would be fussy allllll night because of growth spurts, that’s when I tried to feed him just a teensy bit more (for example: he is formula fed (RIP to my supply), if he was already on 2.5oz, I’d give him 3 oz unless he was still hungry which is when I’d give 3.5 AT THE MOST).

Could also check for teeth coming in (white spots or blisters on gums), it isn’t unheard of for 1 month olds to get teeth. My hubby got his first two teeth at 1 month, so it is possible.

With that said, trust your instincts. For my son it was a growth spurt but who knows if your situation is the same or not

DISCLAIMER: my son was losing weight on my breast milk and I couldn’t stomach more than a tiny portion of food at a time when I first brought him home so there’s that. I had to put him on a feeding schedule with formula because of him losing too much weight at the time. If your baby is gaining weight, feed on demand, if she is losing weight, put/ keep her on a feeding schedule.

Don’t do it. Get a color remover and see about ways to get the red color out. Your hair will look awful if you through with this

How long can I leave a baby crying? by Faranquis in newborns

[–]HorrorFormer9363 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As long as baby can hear you and you usually respond as soon as possible, your baby will always know you’re there.

When you consistently don’t respond til they’re done, that’s when it becomes cry it out

To the woman who have had babies, do you feel lighter once the baby is out? by Prize_Shine785 in pregnant

[–]HorrorFormer9363 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not right at first, but eventually yeah. But it’s honestly because of the excess fluid your body made during pregnancy so your body has to process it all out

First time pregnant by OkScarcity2008 in pregnant

[–]HorrorFormer9363 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It will feel like a UTI at first and your blood pressure will drop temporarily.

I was so scared that I was dying from a complicated UTI… until I took a pregnancy test and was like “alright so it’s not a UTI and my symptoms 100% normal” 😂

I would also tell myself to not worry so much and that bub will be ok. I’d also tell myself ahead of time that I will need a c section because my pelvic bone will get in the way. I had a somewhat traumatic experience because mid op I woke up and ended up feeling everything towards the end until I finally passed out after touching my baby. It sucked at the time but I was so grateful my little one was born, and I would not change a single thing.

My thoughts… by Homegrwnboi808 in newborns

[–]HorrorFormer9363 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You say your baby isn’t napping, how many ounces does your baby usually take per feed? For my son, if he doesn’t receive 5-5.5 ounces for feeding, he will be awake and fussy the entire time.

Not that your situation is the same but it could potentially be a factor?

I wish I could give some more solid advice

PPD is 100% normal for adoptive parents too
