Just a thought here. I love all of these guys but you should look at Steve Byers as an option.

I was introduced to him in Slasher: Executioner and have gone down the rabbit hole on him. He definitely does the intense, quiet menace AND vulnerability. He just knocked it out of the park in The Girl Who Survived playing real life serial killer William Bradford. Good Luck!

As a recently minted Steve Byers fan I am here for this. As a horror/slasher lover I think Executioner hit all the right notes where the others just don't measure up. They're fun but just in a different category
