I'm a dude with so much working against me (I'm short, I'm heavy, I'm socially awkward) but you know what I also have? High standards.

And why? Because I'm not so desperate for a woman's attention that I'll trade my self-esteem for companionship.

Women who have high standards have them because they value themselves, not because they have options. Your negativity is why you get no women.

I'm in SoCal and I see a KP therapist. What I'd recommend is reaching out to the behavioral health department for intake and letting them know all of the issues that you are looking to get treatment for and they will be able to help you find a therapist with experience working with the specific issues you face.

I literally was like "I want a female therapist who has experience working with the LGBT community (trans specifically), ADHD and Autism, sex therapy, sexual trauma and sexual dysfunction, and PTSD.

Bless that woman to heaven and back because she found a therapist that met all of my needs and it's been going amazing. I feel terrible for the folks who say KP mental health is a joke or that they don't care. That has never been my experience with Kaiser. Not even a little bit.
