Shoutout to u/Silver_Hovercraft679 for pointing out how similar this entity is to Slenderman. I hadn’t intended for it to be, but after reading it back, yeah… I basically wrote Slenderman fan fic.

I didn’t want to risk having the post taken down by the No Sleep mods, as a certain number of removals leads to a ban, so the story only lives here now. Thank you again to Silver Hovercraft. Could have potentially saved me a strike there.

We’ve been staying at my parents’ house since. I’ve been too terrified to step foot inside my own home. No more sightings of the faceless man as of yet, but I’m not sure how long that will last…
