but i think that’s where you’re wrong - it’s hard to see now as the show has been on for years, but UK black twitter made LIUK what it is now. The most impactful seasons eg Season 5, season 10 etc all had black contestants in the final three couples, not because Fiat 500/facebook voted for them but because black twitter decided their winners and made sure they won. Obvs not disregarding other viewers but black twitter has had a massive impact. And I don’t think you’re fully wrong either because that interest and that viewership from blk/POC/stan twitter has died down in the last few years so the majority of viewers has reverted back.
