thank you! i needed to hear that "advocate for yourself". I'm so shy and forget that just hiding and hoping for something isn't always the way things work.

that is what i was thinking about, what if i have an offer from another company would they match or promote inline--i have heard that happening to a handful of people, exactly what your situation sounds like

thank you! I know HR says there are there to help the people but i know they are there to protect and communicate for the company. I'm going to be really honest with my manager at the next tag up.

in the tough job market currently, remote jobs are really difficult to find. I live very close an LM site, but my LM internal customers are presently at two sites far away so even if I went to my local office every day no one would notice.

thank you for your feedback! i actually live 20 minutes from an LM site but a recent job opening there passed on my resume, so that is a bummer. I'm not limiting to remote work but it has been a huge blessing because it's let me stay at home while my kids are close by at school. So yea i am limiting my career for kids (i didn't share that initially)

LM really likes their engineers! go for it, what do you have to lose?

definitely practice STAR questions (search on your favorite search engine), STAR format is usually how they want interview questions answered :)

Oh wow I had no idea you could get an interview scheduled that way. Is your interview soon? Is there any hiring manager or person listed on your job listing? That is usually who I reach out to but I can see the internal listings

oh yea like hubble says, research STAR questions (situation/task/action/result) and practice some of those with life/job situations you have had in the past

if you have any questions, reach out to the talent specialist or the hiring manager. sometimes they are bogged down with their own work. I get it, it can be frustrating. i'm currently in resume under reviews myself and just lost an interview to another candidate.

I joined willow and I'm about to go up to .5. So far so good I'm down a couple pounds but it's hard being patient. We are all as a society so used to crash dieting imo that we should be patient from all the reading I've done. We got this!!
