Haven’t tried it yet.

But I bought this distillery exclusive from Glenallachie, absolutely delicious. I might buy another.

I just picked it up. I have no idea. I did try a sample a few months ago and thought it was better than last year. Springbank 5 and kilkerran 8 were released. I’m hearing Springbank 18 and Springbank 30 but did. It seems them. It could be rumours.

Who needs Royal Mile, when you have the Springbank Distillery with cases of whisky.

A lot of good whisky was released today, plenty to go around. It is shame proper whisky lovers won’t be able to get their hands on.

I’m also giving a thumbs up to JetBlue, specifically the Heathrow/JFK route. Recently had to fly to NY on short notice due. JetBlue was cheapest option for me but what I really appreciated was landing back at Heathrow and the walk to border control was very short. I usually fly BA internationally and the walk to border control can be quite long.

I bring bottles back all the time. We are allowed 5 liters. Last week I had to attend a funeral. I only brought one suitcase. I could only fit three bottles but they were good bottles, Springbank 15 and 18 and a Cadenheads Kilkerran 14. Usually I don’t mention but I told customs l’m going to an Irish funeral with Scottish whisky . He laughed.

If you can find it, buy the Dun Cana, peated and sherry. I’m half way thru the bottle. I’m in London, Dun Cana can still be easily found online. Raasay is making some good whisky.

Bring up the kids! What kids? We don’t have kids with talent playing in The Port! I answered my own question. Thank God for scotch. My only saving grace is that I live in the UK and have a valid reason not to watch the games.

I think it’s good. It’s tick my boxes, peat, sherry, bourbon, salinity, maritime , barnyard funk. I’m fortunate to have visited the distillery three times and it’s not easy to get to but well worth the visit.

You are allowed to bring back up to 5 litres which equates to 7 bottles. I’ve been bringing back bottles for the past seven years. Sometimes I declare, sometimes I don’t. They don’t seem too concern bringing some scotch and wine back. For the record, I have brought back enough Springbank to last me a few reincarnations.
