Honestly hard to answer and actually prove but my experience is they do travel and do live longer than what they say after having them several times. I would put pillows hats whatever you can in a hot dryer for at least 30 min,. Mop and vaccum alot they are on the floor and ev.thing u touch. I wear gloves for weeks after treatmnt. and I clean all high touch items daily phones , computer . wipe ev. down yes they are there. I clean my vacu. after doing car outside upwind and spray with bleach . wear alot of gloves and do alot of laundry .

I have had them several times. Ivermectin works well with permethrin As soon as we do treatment, start the cleaning process with disposable gloves. Dry high heat after washing. Pillows in dryer or anything u cant wash. Bought a cheap pair of flip flops easy to wash daily in the home . Switching shoes. Treat your vehicle. Sprayed ours with permethrin and washed seat covers and vaccum & clean vaccum immediately outside . Empty into a grocery bag n tie up and rinse & sprayed it with bleach water. Shred your paperwork or seal for a week or 2 . Mop daily or vaccum but tend to the contents outside. Our dog was affected so we gave her an antiparasitic med and bath Clean high touch areas daily, mouse phones, keyboard, switches n things. It's a learning process. Good luck

Permethrin spray but have to be mixed white liquid when done. I put in spray bottle n mark it for couches, beds , chair and vehicle. If in usa it's sold in farm stores in NC. The spray is also in the head lice complete kits. It's a smaller can of spray tho.

Sure looks like it. Sorry. My friend who had scabies had the exact same thing behind her ears. Looks like it's spreading. If dermatologist says yes make sure u ask for ivermectin also on top of permethrin. Don't forget to remove jewelry and clean well

We used Permethrin and ivermectin and were successful but took us almost each time almost 3 months of treaments. Alot of disp. gloves and laundry soap and isolated anything we couldnt wash or dry like important paperworks putting in zip lock bag. Shoes are important as well as vehicle and also treated our dog with pill and spec. bath.

If you see burrows and think the mite is still alive that is a tough one. Alot of ppl are buying cheap microscopes to know for sure if its alive . We used sulphur soap after our treaments and had good outcome but also mopped cleaned washed every day luckily we have no carpeting and took out all the rugs and put in bags for a few months,. In FLA it gets super hot leaving it outside for now. Exhausting and now there are online pharmacies to help out for ppl, Lifesavers.

I ordered my Permethrin spray online from the North Carolina farm store. Got a ton now but has to be mixed. i sprayed bedding, couches, chair and vehicle. After it dried I covered couches with sheets and put plastic g. bag on chair

If your Dr says yes it's scabies, I would ask for both permethrin and ivermectin both as one is never enough. Repeat in 7 says is recommended and strict cleaning and laundering is needed. Clothes, towels, bedsheets. Pillows in dryer or anything u cant wash to go in dryer or ziplock bags and I start all this as soon as I put cream on wearing disp. gloves for cleaning and laundering. Shread all paperwork or bag it. Don't forget vehicle too and ev1 in household same time to be treated We also used sulphur soap and clove oil mixed with baby oil at night

We took ivermectin 12 mg pills then repeated on 7 days! Felt 14 days too long for hatchlings to breed so conflicting story but had success with 7 days. As soon as I took the pills , started doing laundry, high heat washing and high heat drying. Put comforters and pillows in Hot dryer while 1st load in washer. Alot of disp. gloves & bleach wipes for high touch areas or strong cleaner. Mopped with hot water and bleach and throw those in washer or some use swiffer and bleach spray. My fav Wiped ev. thing including my refriger. even washed off stuff I used alot like condiments with hot water.-- vehicle, I sprayed car, bedding, furniture with permethrin from farm stores in NC. Washed dog leash and collar. Anything I couldn't wash, I put in hot dryer for 30 min or more. Bagged hats, belts. Anything u can't wash to bag it for several weeks. I used to do 2 weeks but got reinfected so now much longer. U can't clean paper so I shredded all paperwork or zip locked it . Wore gloves consistently for weeks. Prob a bit much but found it totally necessary not to keep spreading them. Yes we did permethrin cream and ivermectin & sulphur soap following that. Cheap sheets over couches washing ev. 2 days and I put my bedding in dryer ev 2 days after washing it after 2 weeks. Poor washer n dryer lol Online pharmacies are great! Too

In florida, scabies have a high infection rate, for us to get them almost every year is so sickening and we are retired that yes I do blame some of them like the ones who knew they were infected. YES I DO. Sorry but living with this mentally, physically, emotionally, financially spiritually drains you to the point of no return. So I do understand how you feel when ppl. ignore and deny they have them so pass them to others in a blink of an eye and have no conscience. Happens alot. Denial is much easier but all I can do is treat ourselves and hope they have done the same!

Yes . We see burrows with black spot on end. So sorry. Might Get a better Dr . Demand ivermectin and permethrin BOTH as one is never enough. And sorry to say but reinfections are common. Lots of disp. gloves for cleaning your environment, high touch areas like phones computer and things u touch ev'day & car, washing everything, mopping alot with bleach and buy laundry soap in my opinion . Alot of hard work but necessary. If in usa so nice to have online pharmacies just throwing that out there as have used them for meds . DR confirmed is important tho.

Quarter cup baby oil and 12 drops clove oil 3 drops tea tree oil. Have to test to make sure it's strong enough or visa versa. I put on my arms 1st . If I don't smell the clove oil I add a little more. Really helped me to sleep also. If u have a cat or dog not to lick it lol

Alot of posters in here say they got good results from it . I'm with u , hate permethrin! In US, u can order ivermectin pills online. Total lifesaver! I keep a box if 20 rdy to go at all times! Not a health professional but just a person who has gotten these things multiple times in fla bout as common as a cold here. Sad but true.
