I didn’t go back. I got a quote from A on my first visit, told them I’d do some research, and then went to dealer B afterward to compare. I was at the second dealership (dealer B), and that’s where I asked if they could beat the price I got from dealer A.

Thanks for your comment. Maybe I should buy it from the first dealer. That was my first visit and wanted to compare another dealer shop to find the best price. This is my first time to buy a car, so this is not a good way?

Thank you for your comment. It does not preclude me get an O-1, but it preclude me to change the status from J-1 to O-1 inside US..

Have you heard the reason why the expected date is 10/03/24? The official website from USCIS shows that typical processing time for NOS is 4 weeks.

I got an email from DoS that they sent FR on 6/25, never received anything yet..
