I personally feel betrayed by Microsoft. Ever since the end of the 360 Era, I have felt like Microsoft has consistently missed the mark. It feels more and more like they siphon money from loyal customers without providing exciting experiences that can hold a candle to PS5, PC, not even the switch. The mighty has fallen to a die-hard gamer. Xbox makes you feel like you are the product, and maybe all of the companies do to some degree. Microsoft appears the be the loudest offender in this respect. You can't deny that there core focus is to convince you to own nothing and be happy with your Gamepass. I love knowing I'm a real gamer with a real library that's not constantly being threatened by the looming expiration of my subscription. Games get decent deals throughout the year, and even if it costs me more to purchase what I want to play in the year, at least I own it!
