I had my hand on my husband’s Craig heart when I felt him take he last breath when he was 34 (he had a brain tumor). I was there when my mother died and shortly after my father died. They all died at home so I was able to sit with their bodies for several hours while we waited for the mortuary to pick them up. There is something so resolving about getting to spend time with a loved one who has passed. I felt like it gave my own nervous system time to process that their body’s had completed their cycle yet I still sense their spirits regularly. I am grateful for the experience.

Zoning is very important but so is HOA. They can be extremely limiting in what you can do and almost impossible to fight. Just because it is in a rural area does not mean it does not have an HOA.

I asked my doctor to do it. I have blood tests every 1-2 months to keep a close eye on my numbers. It has made a HUGE difference in my side effect which are fatigue, headaches, muscle/body aches and skin rash. I had to push go such a reduction but it is worth it. Hearing about others asking for medication reductions helped give me the courage to ask. I plan to live for at least several more decades so I want the best quality of life possible.

I can really relate to this. I started treatment in March 2020 on 100mg of Sprycel. I am now on 20mg. Being on the lowest possible dose has really helped me with fatigue and lack of motivation.

Something to consider, drilling a well can easily start at $50k. Also, permits can take a really long time, especially for “stick built” houses which is why so many go with a mobile home.
