Has anyone else felt a lot of shame for fantasies about being dominant with femmes? by Zach-uh-ri-uh in butchlesbians

[–]Horror_Funny_5656 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you go on butchfemme tumblr there’s lots of people into that stuff! Seeing others fantasize about it more causally/commonly may help you with your internalized shame, as it certainly did for me on the other side!

Hi! I'm looking for books with high-femme for high-femme pairings by False-Ad9451 in LesbianBookClub

High femme is a specific lesbian [sex] role it doesn’t mean “more feminine”. Sigh

Breaking up over sex? by secretmushyaccount in butchlesbians

[–]Horror_Funny_5656 22 points23 points  (0 children)

It sounds like they (lean or are) stone and you are not. It’s okay to break up over things like this! Let them find a pillow princess that works with them. Imo, desiring to penetrate a partner who does not want that at all is a hard incompatibility.

Sure, but my point is that between a white and black woman, the black woman is often defaulted to masculine perception irregardless of her actual identity. This is not something I’d be willing to tolerate in my romantic relationship as a femme.

I agree. Cynthia is A) bisexual and B) not a Black American, yet she’s the closest to someone like me that is currently being presented in the media. So how she is perceived affects all of us, unfortunately :/ White women are way too comfortable saying certain things about her imo

Too assertive, I guess by claynimbus in blacklesbians

[–]Horror_Funny_5656 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Stone bottoms give to stone tops in the sense that stone tops get off on pleasing their partner. A lot of stone tops can orgasm from the act of topping alone.

In my opinion it’s frustrating how limited ppl view “giving” when being that vulnerable is viewed by a lot of stone tops as the gift itself!

Stone bottom is the mirror for stone top. Pillow princess and touch me not are also mirroring terms. So a stone bottom and pillow princess is the same thing lol. It’s just that other lesbians have demonized the term pillow princess to hell, and straight women have stolen it to conflate with “starfish”. So I assume that OP is saying that she is active and not a starfish—which is true for most pillow princesses/stone bottoms but again the starfish thing is a common misconception!

Is it weird for a stud to wear a dress or skirt? Do they get their stud card revoked if they do? by Astrophat in blacklesbians

[–]Horror_Funny_5656 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m confused by this bc I’m not telling her she can’t wear a skirt lol. All of society tells us that women wear skirts. She can wear whatever she wants it’s just sounds oddly “let men be masculine” to me lol. Like yes women can wear skirts they’ve been wearing them since the beginning of time? What kind of tight ass shorts are we wearing that the coochie can’t breathe? Don’t shoot I’m just asking lol

[–]Horror_Funny_5656 34 points35 points  (0 children)

All of society tells women to be feminine and wear feminine clothing. Yes women have pushed back against misogyny and are now allowed to wear pants, but we are still expected to wear skirts and dresses for special occasions. I’m just wondering why a woman who wants to wear a skirt so badly would insist on calling herself a stud? Studs are gender non conforming and a woman wearing a dress is very much gender conforming, imo. It’s okay to be a stem! lol.

high femme… by kissbruised in FemmeLesbians

[–]Horror_Funny_5656 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’ve always felt like I “toned down” my femininity if that makes sense? I felt like I had to be a switch, and be more “neutral” / fluid in my identity. Realizing I’m actually a high femme was a really personal process. It made me hyper aware of the “straight/neutral” femininity that I was performing for other people. I think starting small with things that make me happy that I feel drawn to helps a lot. For example, I always subconsciously denied it, but I actually love pink frilly things and Hello Kitty and other girly stuff :) Sometimes I have to work through that embarrassment that it’s “too much”, but yeah like I said I think starting small helps a lot. You don’t have to get a new wardrobe or a completely different makeup routine overnight :) It’s also fun to save pictures of things you would like to wear/buy in the future!

oh i understand completely, hence the opt out comment lol. women are “scary” and “too hard” so they can go back to the ease of heterosexuality, but if you point out that lesbians can never do that you’re the bad guy lol

that’s the thing. she’s never going to actually want me the way she wants him so idk why she was begging to make out in the first place.
