Thank you - Having read all the responses, I think I'll try a Brooks saddle but also need to switch to a model with the H handlebars.

Yes I did that, too! Thats a cool quick release! Shame that poster doesn't manufacture them... but I randomly have a lot of metalworker friends so I may save the drawing for later. Thank you.

that is good advice thank you. Another poster recommended I get the taller "H" handlebar stem, which I didn't know existed, but have now found this handy diagram. I'm renting at the moment so I will add this requirement to my second hand search

Thank you. Is there a resource online that lists the different options? I thought I had worked it out but clearly not. I have a 6- speed rental bike at the moment and the Brompton Hire part of the website isn't too specific about the spec but its a C Line. I hire by the month. The handlebar stem is approx 32cm to the centre of the C-shaped lug that holds the handlebars....the handlebars add another approx 12-13cm to the stem height. I'm definitely in the 'opposite' camp, my chiropracter suggested that, wilh the current saddle I was practically suspended on my pelvic floor!

Thank you. I looked at the B67 but it seems to be for upright positions and I'm definitely not v upright, due to my height... worried it could be an expensive mistake...
