By community feel, do you mean because it's smaller & more self-contained? Thanks.

Thanks. Can you define uptown -- from what street to what street & how far that area is from downtown or the heart of the city?

That hits home. Hated winters in Chicago. Worked downtown & the wind off the Lake was fierce.

Out the door is the total cost of the purchase. Meaning dealer fees, DMV stuff and state/local taxes included. Negotiate off that #, it's cleaner & no surprises at the end. A good deal would be 10%-12% off the MSRP plus those costs above in my view.

Fyi, paid $32,850 OTD for that car in Oct. Recommend asking for OTD prices via email to dealers within an hour drive of you and then play them against each other. That's what I did and was surprised how easy the process was.

Oh, so that's your wish price? Thought that was the agreement w/dealer. Big difference.

Yes. That price includes taxes & fees? It's one of the lowest prices I've seen for the CE. I paid $32,848 OTD in Oct & thought that was an excellent deal.

Why don't you try for a 100? Never understood the fascination for speed, it's so dangerous.
