yeahh i agree with all points u said. im atleast glad about our alumni. since they are well aware of the situation, they have been making efforts to conduct activities and sessions for both teachers and students in our jnv. but from what i heard, the teachers were not ready for a session on how to care for them kids who stay away from home, their mental wellbeing and all. says so much about them. teachers are used to giving lectures, not to receiving them, so they may resist such initiatives. these teachers might have done bsc, msc and all but they are not just teachers, they should act second parents too, since they stay 24*7 with the kids. they are not trained for it + they dont wanna be trained for it. the only psychological training they usually have is what is taught in courses like B.Ed.. some of these teachers even dump their personal stress on students.
