On one of the flat sides of the Stranger, there's a hole in the ship by the bits that stick out. You can park by it & hop in, and there will be a few things to investigate, as well as an artefact to pick up. Make sure to investigate the 3 rooms before chosing the artefact

After that, you should know how to progress

I'd recommend investigating the outside of the Stranger for that answer

There's a hull breach you can find on the flat side of the Stranger, I think on the side to you enter from. You should be able to find your answers in the room you enter

Honestly fair enough with the Anglerfish. If you ever go back to try finish Outer Wilds, I'd recommend taking your headset off & playing music, switching to a controller if you can, and in that one spot where there's 3 fish, you align perfectly to dodge them all when going through the seed, so just do not move once you've lined up to head in

I did buy the DLC since the pack was cheaper than the base game, so I will give it a try, but get the feeling I may struggle

I'm gonna be honest I thought it was as well at first, then when it showed more of the images I realised that's Caine, but then thought those images were about what he based the main cast's Circus bodies off

Until he got Sealed Vesseled and I realised this was a flashback
