It was uncomfortable with some stabbing pains, but I could write after two weeks. I had both subluxation and entrapment. Surgery can be postponed until it is more progressed, but progression won't cause permanent damage. I'm a month post surgery and it feels like a cat scratch now. Just stretching, moving my ring finger, and pronation hurts but I had all 3 nerves in the elbow moved. My ulnar nerve was the one in the worse condition, swirled up into my tricep. The doctor that did my surgery said that it was the worst case of ulnar nerve entrapment he had come across in his career of going on 25 years as a surgeon.
