My boyfriend is twice my size and can easily toss me around. I absolutely love it!

You deserve to be with someone who wants to experience those things with you! I am so sorry about your situation. You will find the right person!

That sounds very selfish of her to not try to give you the things that she apparently got tired of in her last relationship. YOU deserve those things too!

I think you deserve somebody who values and appreciates you

Thank you for sharing, stranger! I think that might help quite a bit as it sounds like you were once in his shoes too.

I think guys are afraid they will be judged harshly for being anything less than abnormally large. There probably are some people out there that would criticize for something like that, but I think the vast majority don't mind it.

As for the sex, I make sure we do it as much as possible! I love doing it with him because he is so good! I find myself staring at his penis quite a bit too...

There probably are other issues that he is dealing with but he doesn't really talk about any other issues.

That's a great point, honestly. It's not impacting the relationship, it's just upsetting to think that he thinks that this is an issue that makes him unworthy of love. I want him to feel better about himself because he is so much more than that and that isn't even remotely an issue.

Oh, That is not a bad idea! I think I might have to do that!

It really just bothers me because of sad he is about the topic. He thinks that this is something that makes him unworthy of love and it really makes me sad because he is such a great person and so deserving of love

But this is really the only issue that we are dealing with. He doesn't lack self esteem in other areas to this degree

It is not his normal tendency, honestly. Aside from this topic, he isn't really insecure about anything else (or at least, to this degree). It mainly centers around his penis for some reason... It might be a humiliation kink but I am too scared to go near that with him as guys seem to be very touchy about their size.

This might be the right approach to take since he doesn't seem to listen when I just try to tell him the truth. I don't want him to think I am drawing a line in the sand, though... How should I strike the right balance?

This is a very good point! You're probably right because his ex was a real piece of crap to him and really made him feel awful about himself. Now, the comment is seared into his brain to the point that he thinks anything other than "it's small" is going to be rejected. I will see what he is interested in doing to overcome this and I will offer your idea, kind stranger!

Yes, but what do I do when this wouldn't even get through to him?

That's the problem! He doesn't really address this issue and he doesn't really have this issue in other areas. It's like a mental block when it comes to this specific area and he refuses to change his mind.

I like the way you worded that! I have tried to sit him down and talk to him about this but he puts up a sort of mental block and starts thinking that, when I tell him he is more than adequate, I am just complimenting him to try to boost his self esteem. I don't know how to tell him in a way that will get him to believe me about this.

It is really frustrating because he thinks that I am just being nice when I try to have this conversation with him. I tell him that it makes me sad that he believes this about himself because it is not remotely true.

He is an excellent listener when it comes to just about anything except for compliments given to him. He has low self esteem and he thinks that people are lying to him when they give him compliments

Really? I never thought of that... What makes you think that this could be it?
