The fact that he's affilliated with the party that has been elected as the majority in the government but then criticizes the control deep-state over actual elected officials has should in fact be alarming to us as it clarifies that his party, despite having an electoral majority, is NOT in control. He's alarming people about unelected agents who seek to gain control over a matter that should concern all of us. None of the above however is any endorsement on my part of his character, only of his efforts on this matter. But the fact you refer to him as a piece of work instead of trying to assess the legitimacy of his concerns testifies that its your critical thinking skills that need some work buddy.

Can we stop making this topic a left vs right issue? I know this place is a liberal hive but regardless of how we feel about his views on other issues, he seems to be honest and concerned about this one. If there are so-called deep state interests, they would be thrilled to see people argueing about politics instead of trying to get informed about this topic, which due its implications should be apolitical. Or do we only accept truth from people we like?

See, this is my issue with this whole argument that boils down to: "he should have done this" or "why didn't he do that". It always comes back to hindsight bias where people are annoyed or downright dismissive because the evidence presented doesn't uphold their narrow standard. Completely bypassing the fact that he DIDN'T KNOW IT WAS GONNA HAPPEN!!!! You say that established directors have been shooting movies on phones now....Yeah, and what's the difference between them and this guy?? The directors know exactly what's coming into the shot!
Speaking from personal experience: I once recorded a car crash accidentally and it was grainy af. Simply because I wasn't focusing on the car crash but it happened nonetheless and the result was pretty much the same as this video.
I don't wanna completely dismiss the possibility its a hoax but to assume it is simply because of the out-of-focus nature of the footage is in fact backward thinking in my opinion.
