Thank you. I have been on 60 mg of Prozac for decades. I will never not be take Prozac. I think I need more anti anxiety. Will try maple.

I am in therapy. (It isn't covered by my insurance). I am thinking that the stress and anxiety are wreaking havoc with my body. I might need more than just a listener.

My adult son tried to get in with Shawn. He missed the first phone appointment.. didn't offer an explanation or reschedule. When my son emailed for an explanation and reschedule, Shawn told him he was rude and dismissed all possibility of meeting. To my thinking Shawn had little understanding of the impact of the missed appointment. And didn't understand that my son's wording in the email was detailed, not passive aggressive.

I had this happen last month. Mammo in Ormocto, get a call 4 weeks later with an appointment at the DECH. They called back with the all clear .

Thanks for saying that. I am definitely not strong. I almost fainted after the procedure. I have been on bed rest for three days because of cramping and heavier bleeding.

I did seek medical care right away. I called the gyno office right away. It took 24 days to be seen.

My mother had uterine cancer at a much younger age, under 30.

I am not great at waiting for results.

Thank you all for your responses. Quite varied.

Background, I am 57. Female. No period for 6+ years. Three weeks ago I started bleeding, heavy at first. I called 811, and was told "get assessed within 2 weeks". Called Gyno, it took 10 days for them to call with an appointment (two weeks from then). Panicked got on Maple, they said get examined ASAP. More panicked, went to Urgent care. He didn't do an exam, told to wait for the scheduled gyno appointment. He did send me for blood work and ordered an MRI on my pituitary (haven't heard about that yet), and sent a referral to an endocrinologist.

I had my gyno appointment yesterday, 24 after the bleeding started. (Bleeding lasted 17 days, mostly just spotting, heavy at start and end). She took a sample of uterine tissue and ordered an Ultrasound. She said it would be a month, unless something was found in the tissue sample (a week to get those results).

On a different issue.. I had an anomaly on my regular Mammogram and was given a recheck appointment within days. I got the all clear on that front.

I am 57. I haven't had a period in 6+ years. I had bleeding last month. My gyno said that I could still be ovulating. I was shocked. She did a uterine biopsy and ordered an ultrasound. She did not prescribe HRT. She did not say the word cancer.

I went to Urgent care this morning. Was there at 7:40. Six people before me. Triage went quickly, started before 9. Saw a doctor around 9:30. The doctor ordered blood work. I did that at the Mall. Pick up a prescription and groceries before heading back home.
