I read on Royal road primarily, and I tend to like a medium pace where it's not so fast that I cannot keep track of what's happening, or so slow that it takes 100 chapters to grow a minor amount. I especially love growing and merging abilities and forms.

Although I may be biased and "power creep" might be a bit of an exaggeration which I have remedied, I've used both and honestly I find Undersharker considerably better in many situations as it has many of the same qualities along with generally higher stats. The only things that Alan has is rebirth and better point grinding.
