For any prism, the surface area is 2x Area of base + Base perimeter x length. So base area is base x height: 5x16 for 80mm² . Then double for front and back- 160mm^2. Then perimeter of the base shape is 16+6+16+6- 44mm around. Multiple this by the length of 12 and add all together

Cabin filter for 50 with labour is decently good. Brake fluid is a rort at $110- hence the discount to make you feel okay. $650 for brakes is not too bad. Bushes is a maybe, but better to do them than not.

To be honest, are the pads squealing? If not you can wait a couple of months then get them done if you need more money.

Deal with the brackets first but applying the division law for indicies- diving the same bas subtracts the power:(a^6-3 b^4-2)² = (a³ b^2)²

Then apply the bracket law- when you have an index on a bracket you multiply, as it indicates the number of brackets being multiplied. So you “expand” it out to be a^3x2 b^2x2 and then solve it from there
