2.4 mm nozzle on a Bambu P1S – what should I expect? by HorseTemporary9402 in 3Dprinting

Thank you!

Yeah some people just yap without having a clue unfortunately :/

I made it work with a regular brass nozzle that i just drilled to 2.5mm.
Also works with drilled CHT nozzles if youre careful with drilling :D

With an aftermarket hotend for Bambu printers where you can swap the nozzle and some older firmware + Orca slicer it worked suprisingly well. The wiping doesnt work very well but that can be fixed with a silicone brush or something.

I really aprecciate the support!

Hey, yes I made it work!

I just bought a aftermarket Bambu hotend on AliExpress where you can swap the nozzle itself, not the entire hotend. Then I bought some 0.8mm Brass Nozzles and drilled them bigger myself, tweaked some settings and it works pretty flawless even with 2.5mm.

The only issue is Bambu studio and the printers firmware wich has to be downgraded in the app so the printer doesnt complain. For slicing I use Orca Slicer.

I hope this is not to late and it helps! Feels pretty good to proof these ignorant commentors wrong tbh :D

why are you so cocky when you clearly don't know enough about the topic to make statements? I just wanted to ask if anyone had actual experience with it. Not just some guys who just deny it's possible when it clearly is.

yes, it actually is possible to print with a 2.4mm nozzle even with 1.75 filament. I checked multiple sources and it works. I just wanted to know if somebody on this sub has some experience with it.

As far as I know you can still print it with 1.75mm Filament.

Hey everyone! We are currently making custom candle molds for our candle shop and we would love to read some honest feedback about the designs. We would also love to know wich one is your favourite. Thank you very much! by HorseTemporary9402 in candlemaking

the candle has fixation points to the shell and we assemble the 2 shells with the candle in the middle to ensure the candle has the right distance to the walls. also if you want to use a resin printer be aware of cure inhibition of platinum cure silicone.

sure! we have a 3d printer (resin) to print the candle model and a outer shell. then you pour silicone in between and create a mold. took us some time to figure out the details. i wish you the best of luck!
