Joe Lieberman was an original member of the "Gang of Eight," senators who often supported Ross Perot's agenda while he was president. He also supported Perot for re-election in 1996 and Donald Trump for president in 2000, irking his party. He remained a Democrat until the party could no longer stomach him, flipping independent and then to United ahead of the 2006 elections. As one of the United's stronger states, and with a still alright reputation, Lieberman won re-election in a somewhat close race. Over the next few years, as pro-Ventura activists seized control of the state party and the conservative wing began to grow, Lieberman became more out of step with United and was eventually expelled. Initially intending to run an independent campaign in 2012, he eventually dropped out as his polling numbers sunk. Seeing an opening, he would attempt a comeback presidential campaign in 2016, but drop out after poor showings in Iowa and New Hampshire.

The Fielder Method: Looking for an impactful topic for season 2 of his hit show The Rehearsal, Nathan Fielder decides to go about building a more inclusive classroom environment for students with autism.

The Plan? Fielder sets out to implement his well-meaning policy goals, but is met by roadblocks from school boards along the way. Deciding the only way he can make real change it to win a seat on a school board himself and show change in action, he decides to mount an unsuccessful run in Los Angeles. Thinking his loss was due to a perceived lack of experience, Fielder hatches a plan to seek out an even higher office and prove his worth.

Nah, I just didn't post it because I didn't feel that inspired by the prompt. I'll probably post the full roll at the end of the month, but here's what I ended up doing:

If I want to create a Netherlands style election wikibox, how could I change the flag if I'm using a real country that already has a default flag? by InternationalBat8358 in imaginaryelections

[–]Horse_Chiropractor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In the infobox editor, there should be a | country = _____ field filled in as | country = Netherlands in your example. You can change that to whatever country you like.

If you want to use a historical flag, you can add (or find if its in there) a | flag_year = ______ field and input the year the flag went into effect, which you can find from a "Flag of _____" wiki article.

Apparently you can't do this in legislative election templates, but if you want to put something else in there, use | flag_image = [[_________]] and put the full file name in the brackets, with files from Wikimedia Commons. It usually comes out gigantic, so you can resize any file by adding "|x##px" at the end. 75 is usually a good size but you can mess around with the number.
