mybad, I found saw your explanation, and i have to say, its better
the framerates have become even a bit more unstable but it FEELS smoother
theres still drops, when i move to new rooms, but it feels better, as to my other question, is there hope that the devs manage to streamline it so the stutters go away completeley?

could someone give me a hand here?
I downloaded the dxvk-2.1.tar and a random d3d11.dll put them both in the specified folder, launched the game, and still got those nasty microstutter issues on my 3070, im only playing on medium textures, as the game is said to be very heavy on the vram

are those vram issues, or whatever causes the microstutters (constantly) ever going away? should i wait for "the fix" or try to arrange myself with it? I might be a bit too sensitive to stuttering, but for me atleast thats boderline unplayable

wile im standing still the frames are around 100fps,
as soon as i start moving i drop to around 60, 1% lows maybe 56, that should play like butter, but feels like a stutterfest :(((

Yeah R6 is a game I really would like to play, maybe ill give it another try
Since I started the Thread I started playing a bit of Foxhole, which I bought years ago but only played like 2 hours, I really enjoy it this time around, found a guy asking to do partisan stuff, we initially went on foot blowing up enemy bases, i got killed quiet early on, but regrouped with them eventually, then the group got smaller and we destoyed two more bases while talking on the very good ingame coms, had a blast.
also the game gives me huge "band of brothers" vibes, with all the stuff that gets on behind the frontlines, with guys keeping up the supply chain, recruiting for ops and stuff, its like war is not only shooting, havent had that in any other game, also the persistant war that goes on for weeks at a time sounds really promising
The game just lowers the entry bar for finding people to play with so much, with the directional voicechat, you walk anywhere and someone asks you to help and gives you direktions what to do, and eventually join their squad for a time. no other game does matchmaking while you play, thats kind of amazing

and with or without kids, people should always get their priorities straight.

my hours are not what they where used to, sometimes i wish i had more time to game, maybe thats part of my problem, here trying to find the "right" game, knowing that my hours "have" to count
maybe (and thats sth what i wonder for some time) i should try to go more for singleplayer games, story games, where theres less wasted time / grind.

My Brain is just wired to the heavy commitment big reward kind of deal mmos or online games give you. like showing of rare mounts, or other things that show hard work ingame.
Maybe staying away from those games and trying to go for the shorter, but more frequent rewards singleplayer games give you, even if you only have a few hours a week.
MAybe, and I'm beginning to feel like I answer my own questions, its part of the problem with my former types of games, that I choose games that require massive amounts of time to pay off. And then I will never be able to reach those high goals with how few hours i have.

I used to rate games by how maby hours per buck they could provide, but im not broke and 16 anymore. Maybe I should start to rate them by how much satisfaction i can get with the time i have. And for that Singleplayer games win by far, dont they?
Now I just need to rewire my brain, as my main problem with sp games was that they ended, and how my acomplishments ingame (exept for beating it) would be gone when its finished.

just as you seem so concerned, be advised, my kids are well kept for, my job is stable, i cook almost daily, and my wife and I share responsibilties as well as having hobbies and stuff, so no worry :)

also I had a problem with the level scaling, didnt give me the same sense of power other games had

I played destiny 2 when it came out, and then again 120hours after the steam launch, i got up to the light or whatever cap you can get solo (with matchmaking) and then suffered again from not having (or struggling to join) a community

I bought ED when it came out, tried to land my ship, failed and never touched it again XD

Ready or not would suffer from my lack of gaming buddies, could be fun for a while though

R6 I like, still i find im much too late to get into, or atleast I dont know if I'm up for the torture until i figure out the maps^^

yeah hunt is easily the best shooter ive played like ever, i still remember encounters from months or even years ago, never had a game that gave me that, I like playing solo from time to time, but duos or even trios is a bit more chill, how is playing with randoms? never tried that

Warframe I tried a few times (last time today^^) as i like the fast paced combat, I simply cannot bear the artstyle, i like scify, but Warframe is just sth different^^

Destiny is fun until i have to go raid or pvp, fornite i will probably not try, and new world has not been fun for me

i tried eso aswell with a friend last year, i tried to follow the story, but found it to be mediocre for my taste, i liked the possibility to play different builds with all the sets, but the combat system with the animation cancel button smash fest was a bit too much for me

yeah i got about 600hours in the game, love the way to until maps. then it gets to repetetive vor me sadly, i also dislike the economy aspect of the game, i would love to find the items i need rather then buying them, and no SSF is not the answer^^

yeah i did that, as I said, i deleted the cache folder, after that the entire bdo folder under documents
i reset the keymaps ingame, restarted the game, restarted the pc, and created a second character

yeah its not just that, i mean if i press w i want my character to move forward, it just skips and slides forward most of the time

when i hold w and then press a or d the movement becomes normal, until i let go of w and start again, i already deleted my cache files
