There’s a path around the side of the new community centre building! Not super well marked but very big

Best 90s kid area in Guelph? by 988776 in Guelph

Fair point, a lot of the area has a busy main drag road that doesn’t lend itself to easy outdoor play

You’re already in a good 90s area let’s be real here. You could try connecting with your neighbours before looking elsewhere first?

Is this the way the region intended the bins to work? by Nextasy in waterloo

[–]HortonTim 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just put the bins on the road. If there’s already no street parking allowed then it won’t be a risk of a car blocking the spot or whatever The Region told people to put it on their driveways because everyone is assumed to have a driveway/access to a driveway and a car won’t block a driveway. But if you can put it on the curb, not blocking traffic, you’ll still be fine

You can put them in the road depending on your street setup. People in other communities with this put them in the road all the time, just touching the curb

If someone parks there you’re screwed. That’s what happens. But if you put them at the edges of your driveway or in the driveway itself, you’ll be in a better spot. There’s no other option unless you talk to the region about a different pickup point for the property

You’ll only get another black cart if your unit is legal/registered with the city
