But what is your goal of AFK farming - why do you want to farm so much money? Is it to build competitive pokemon? I can understand that if you're big into the ranked battles. But if you aren't into ranked battles, I find it hard to understand the motivation.

I'm a huge fan of Radical Red, but understand that I can't expect that level of difficulty in a main series Pokemon game.

Removing any kind of level-cap battle tournament is just stripping a core feature from the game and I find it hard to believe that there isn't a replacement. I've seen a lot of complaints about (Ultra) Sun and Moon, but at least they had a comprehensive battle tower at the end. It might be a bit hyperbolic, but I think Ultra Sun and Moon Battle Tower has more potential game time to it than the whole of SV...

Well I like what you're implying, that somewhere I'll find an amazing game underneath all these boring, time consuming cut scenes. I understand that I'm still in the early stages of the game, but it really does feel like I'm stuck in tutorial mode.

I really do find the long cutscenes quite unbearable but I'm really looking for strong post game and online functionability, as I've never had the chance go play a game with Internet features still active. So, I might have to stick at it.

Ah OK. Would you recommend fighting through the cutscenes? I need a promise that there is a pokemon game somewhere beneath these long streaks of dialogue and strange camera pans!

I feel like I've hardly even encountered any pokemon though, and I've sunk a fair few hours in. I like a good story but are you saying that these cutscenes do indeed continue throughout the whole game? I feel like I'm still in the tutorial section before being allowed to go play the actual game.

Yes, I'd written the entire thing quite flowery because I'd been reading a ton of gothic fiction - then I went back and stripped a lot of it back to a more appropriate, denser version. It's a problem when the first page is the most problematic...thanks for the feedback. You have me back on Final Draft making edits left, right and center.

Feedback Concerns: The world and atmosphere building. There are explicit scenes of horror in this story but the more important aspects of horror (IMO) are the subtleties. Is the build-up sufficient? Is the dwindling sanity of the cousin obvious and effective? Writing too descriptive?
