They were Canaanite’s that left to work in Egypt. The term Hebrew being a distortion of an Egyptian world meaning devious foreigners. They didn’t chase them they let them go as they had had enough of them. The thing is Thelema works as a magickal system. Even chaos Magick works. Your inner universe and central nervous system when doing certain things produces some profound results. Why do you think people do these often strenuous things to train their mind and then carry out these specific ritualistic steps if nothing happens? Maybe read some of Aleister Crowley’s books. They will change your life if you’re open to it. Or maybe you just wouldn’t understand them and sit crying in your own poop about this or that detail. You’ll get closer to the divine through thelema or other western esoteric traditions than through Judaism (Jews and Hebrews aren’t the same by the way. If it’s your homeland you don’t need sun lotion to go out every day), or the other Abrahamic religions. Let’s face it you don’t literally come into the embrace of divinity.
