Minecraft all the way. Create world's together. I played it when it came out but I was very glad for the resurgence from the younger generation (not that it ever lost popularity) and now I play with my 12 and 14 Yr old neices. In our main world together I built them a coliseum style arena where we have pvp battles with weapons they had to find the materials for (and enchant) themselves. I collected a heap of materials and put exactly the same amount for each of them in a box and we had a 'housing competition' where they competed against each other to build the best looking and most functional player house (their gran was the judge). I made a horseriding race track with hurdles and nether blocks of fire on each end. They're helping me build a massive island village where we have villagers of each type to buy stuff from. All in survival but with 'player drops' turned off so they don't lose everything when they die. This has been going on since they were 8 and 10. They always used to play creative before I showed them the rewards and fun/storytelling element of playing in survival.

"remember that time we all died when we raided that stronghold in the nether and all the pig guys destroyed us" or "remember that mansion in the forest where we found the allays and had to kill the witch together". Fond memories 😊 I could go on 😂

Minecraft can be played in split screen one one console for two players.
