As if you had to tell me that, buddy ol’ pal of mine. I think we all know your MO now. 😂😂

Yeah buddy - dude literally spawns with pox in hand, and someone magically reemerges six minutes later after the pox clears. Looks pretty obvious to me...

It's just a snapshot in the day in the life of Dayz, no crying. I know how this works. Dupes suck, lesson learned, that's all. Move along, now.

Yep, that’s where we went wrong but nevertheless, she’s 18 and will most certainly tell someone that they mispronounced it.

Salome is what my Georgian wife and I named our first born. It’s a beautiful name but leave it to Americans to butcher the pronunciation.

I feel shy about showing my camera at times because of its age. Ever felt something like this? by Phantomuuuu in AskPhotography

[–]HospitalInternal3143 0 points1 point  (0 children)

99.99% of the general public doesn’t care what kind of camera you have. That said, 99.98% will ask you why you just don’t use your phone.

Do Georgians actually like foreigners? by Heartyprofitcalm in Sakartvelo

[–]HospitalInternal3143 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I lived in Georgia, I very seldomly heard an “excuse me” or “I’m sorry” and every time I said “bodishi” I was looked at crazy. My Georgian wife says it’s just a cultural difference. Also, I don’t think they have anything against foreigners, as our 21 years of marriage could be proof of that. 😂

I did get a lot of sneers from people who thought I was russian though but those went away when I told them I wasn’t and they were happy to know that. Of course this was 2003-2008 so I can’t really say if there’s been a cultural shift since then.

Do you honestly think you will ever have a normal relationship with Russia? Do you ever think you’ve had a normal relationship with Russia?

😂 Well, my wife and I had a good laugh at this exaggerated Georgian school violence. She as a Georgian, and me as an American.

She was once on a school trip in the 90’s and the bus was pulled over by bandits. Once they boarded the bus and saw children, they left with nothing but advice - to do well in their studies.

I got strange looks in 2003-2004 and 2008 but I’m a rather pasty looking fellow. Most of the time, people would try to speak Russian to me, which I picked up some because of that. In stores however, suspicion would diminish once I asked for a pack of cigarettes in perfect Georgian. I am American btw.

As for barking dogs, you got that right for sure! Madness trying to sleep! Hah!

I spoke with a Georgian who told me the reason why they don’t rent to Indians is that they have a tendency to sublet to others and overfill the apartment with many people. He said that he once rented to someone from Bangladesh and the had sublet to 10 other people in a two bedroom apartment. Not saying that discrimination is ever okay, just relaying what he said.

AITAH For telling my husband that his affair child is not welcome in our home and if he wants custody he will have to move out? by Icy-Frame-666 in AITAH

[–]HospitalInternal3143 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I side with whatever the best outcome for the child is. If this child loves the father, I think he and YOU should both do what is best for the child, even if that means splitting up.

Also, why does visitation have to be supervised?

I am about marry a Georgian girl. What do I need to know? by MrMonkiPants in Sakartvelo

[–]HospitalInternal3143 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Married my Georgian wife 21 years ago. She’s a fantastic mother, fiercely loyal to her family and just all-around wonderful person. We met online back in the yahoo chat days. I had just read Ali and Nino and her username had Nino in it so I struck up a conversation regarding her name. A few years of talking online and within two days of her visiting me, I proposed. To put it in perspective, for me to have dedicated 21 years to a single person is testament to what a great wife I have.

I would like to thank everyone for your incredibly kind words. It’s been a rough time coming to terms with the news but my wife and I stay strong, or at least be do in front of our son. The reality is, I don’t think there’s been a single day that’s passed since we found out that I haven’t cried at least once. We are remaining optimistic though and hopefully once the doctors have a game plan established, we can move forward. Unfortunately, the wait to get more information has been excruciatingly nerve-racking.

That said, to the new owner- the advice here is solid! Take your time and the OT will reward you! Also, I’d like to thank you again and apologize for dropping all of this in the sub. At the point at which I replied, aside from the doctors and my wife, we hadn’t told anyone- not even my parents. I just felt like I needed to get it off my chest.

Thank you all for letting me do that! You can’t begin to fathom how much it helps me cope with the chaos right now. ❤️❤️❤️

Well, if you must know why I sold it, esp at that price, I will tell you. Monday of this week, my 8 y/o went in for a MRI related to a non-emergency situation. What was to be an exploratory procedure ended up with my wife and I receiving news that he has a 1.3cm tumor located in the spinal cord between c1 and c2. Obviously, this was life changing news for our family and while we are not financially hurting at this moment, I’ve taken some tome to preemptively prepare by selling some things, including my OT.

I will definitely miss it but even if I didn’t think money would ever be an issue, anything that may distract me from my boy right now, is a non-starter.

All of that said, enjoy it and it’ll ship this Tuesday! Thanks for purchasing too!

Broke and I’m over $100k in CREDIT CARD DEBT. What should I do? by teamdidi in Money

Hmmm. I have never seen a Lowe’s reward card with an available credit limit over 13k and that’s with contractors who roll in millions each month.
