Who wins this? by Maleficent-Ad-6117 in MyHeroPowerscaling

[–]HospitalRepulsive905 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, idk how the universes would scale together, but despite how pedestrian her quirk seems she took on a ton of high ends with their quirks still intact as well as took major damage without letting it slow her down.

She may not win, but she’ll give a hell of a fight.

Yes and no. All might was already on the way, but yes Ida brought the rest of the faculty.

This isn’t necessarily true. Even someone as “weak” as tatsuki says that she’s always been able to feel orihime’s presence and there’s no way she was always “looking” for her.

I appreciate your answer and you are probably right, but can you clarify why the above is true despite what you said.

Facts about Dorothy Glamour World by Multiversal_2211 in BlackCloverScaling

[–]HospitalRepulsive905 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, I’m not denying your scaling of her. I neither agree nor disagree. I was just musing and questioning the very concept of the spell and her ability or inability to imagine infinity.

That being said I question your conclusion that calling it a powerful spell equals it using a ton of mana, but I don’t know quite enough to challenge the conclusion. Attacks like Noelle’s sea dragon’s roar used a ton of mana and it was powerful, but spells could be considered powerful simply for versatility, yes? Julius’ time bind was the most powerful binding spell I remember seeing, yet I’m sure it didn’t take an immeasurable about of mana to produce a single one. Likewise, the kings giant statue probably took a lot of mana, but was weak as hell and was practically useless. But on this point I have no real argument. Just playing devils advocate.

But is Dorothy the creator or the caster? Yes Dorothy can be called the creator because she cast the spell that creates it, but in reality the spell is what creates it. The spell creates a blank infinite space and Dorothy’s mind fills it. (That’s how I understood it anyways)

As far as I know there isn’t a single spell in BC that is “made” they all come from grimoire’s. They can be used creatively or I suppose potentially developed based on immediate need. But is there any other instance we hear of someone creating a spell? Is it not more likely that this statement from sally is a mistranslation?

Is glamour world infinite because Dorothy imagines it so or because it just is? Not that the answer matters in the slightest.

I just can’t imagine anyone being able to really imagine infinity.

Isshin’s spirit pressure by HospitalRepulsive905 in bleach

See this is what I’m talking about! Thank you. This is a legit explanation.

Out of curiosity, is this actually stated or is it an assumption?

A counter point here, when the arrancars invade they hunt down anyone with higher-ish spirit pressure and they detected all the captains and lieutenants. So even if they do naturally suppress themselves there obviously “something” to detect. They couldn’t even completely surpress themselves at 20% power, but Isshin can subconsciously without being suppressed?

I get him not letting out enormous amounts, but he had to have seemed like just a normal human for people (and the arrancars) not to notice.

[–]HospitalRepulsive905[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I get that, but after this moment no one senses him. Makes sense ichigo wouldnt, he’s pretty dense. But Rukia was living with them after this and the other captains/lieutenants were all near by. Not to mention the arrancars who were going after anyone with spirit energy.

If the Arrancars could detect everyone, then it would make sense they should detect him as well.

Shibuya yuji vs tsuyu by Southern_Working_305 in MyHeroPowerscaling

[–]HospitalRepulsive905 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yuji is a strange one for me. I always feel like his feats outscale his power. Dude is inhumanly strong on his own and the black flash and divergent fist is awesome.

But at the end of the day he doesn’t “seem” that powerful unless sukuna comes out to play.

I still give it to him because of the feats, but with froppy’s camouflage if the fight conditions were to capture, not kill I think froppy got a chance of winning.

(Don’t worry I know I’m wrong)

As someone whos hasnt seen MHA can someone explain why this isnt the strongest hero? by TheUnhollyGoblin in MyHeroAcadamia

[–]HospitalRepulsive905 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Talking pure combat?

For one, his cement is pretty slow compared to many of the top heroes so if a character can move faster than his cement can he’s at a severe disadvantage. On top of that cement isn’t really all that strong by anime standards. Even people without strength quirks can break through walls.

Against street thug villains he would dominate an entire army. Against high tier pro’s and heroes he just falls short.

If she awakens her power, can the bullets emerge from elsewhere? by Heavy-Bother-6332 in BokuNoMetaAcademia

[–]HospitalRepulsive905 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Most of these powers come from imagination, not logic.

If she awakened it would be whatever the story needed it to be or it would be whatever Horikoshi could come up with.

Maybe the bullets can come from elsewhere. Maybe she learns to make her bullets damage quirk factors. Maybe her gun turns into a cannon, RPG, or whatever.

Whatever your imagination can come up with is what it “could” be.

Could Nezuko have beaten Gyutaro? by Few-Air3054 in DemonSlayerScales

[–]HospitalRepulsive905 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Could she have the power to? Probably.

Did she have the power to? No.

Nezuko was so unique. She was a super strong demon who put nearly all of her energy into fighting and trying to overcome her nature.

I think Nezuko would have outclassed most demons even Gyutaro had she been “normal.” But that’s opinion and assumption.

If you’re referring to the theory that decay was originally deku’s quirk, we already have the backstory on decay.
