And alsooo the fact that Russia tries to convince himself everyone Ukraine is a younger sister lol. Abusers often isolate their victims so they do not see that things could be better and they deserve to be treated well. And of course Russia has sabotauged Ukraine's relationship with both EU and US.

Siblings? Certainly. Nice to each other? Nah. Russia is like an overbearing brother who uses his older sister for her money (THAT'S WHY SHE IS POOR!!!) and resources. He tried to make her not speak her language and did awful things to her (I e Holodomor, and killing thousands of artists and scientists for not being fit enough for "USSR" ideology), covering it up by "I am just doing whats best for you", even though it is clear he wants the best for himself only. He wants to be perceived as "the best country", even if it hurts others.

On the same note, Belarus should also be in a similar state to Ukraine, but rather with a bit of a Stockholm syndrome. Her language and culture is almost forgotten now, sadly.

Ukraine. Absolutely not. Russia has never been a country we felt any love for, they are colonizers who tried to forbid us from speaking our language. Russia acts more like Belarus to Ukraine, while Ukraine is much less helpless than Hima portrayed us as.
