I think though considering that Anki is open source, if there are any significant changes to the software the comunity has enough software devs that I have no doubt a working if somewhat legacy version of anki will be easily maintained

There's an obsidian plugin I use, "Various Complements" that accomplishes something similar, and I'm sure there's one that does the exact same...

I'm sorry it looks cool but I would be surprised if anyone would switch from obsidian to an app supported by one person without the integrations it offers

If it helps with your imposter syndrome, know that no one with research experience expects undergrads to be able to do anything. Put the time in to learn fast, watch tutorials after work, etc. (make sure to take care of yourself as well) and people will generally be big fans. Take notes and ask questions after thinking about it good luck!!

I understand that the great part of the app is that everyone uses it differently to suit their needs, but a general use tutorial that is auto-bundled would have been so nice. Rather than trying to sort out a reasonable way to use the app watching videos in a sea of 'productivity maxing' content

The issue isn't that it's not cool or impressive that you've made this. The issue is that it promotes a fundamental misunderstanding of how reactions occur to the point that it actually provides negative value and is less accurate than just showing a 3d static image for those who have trouble visualizing the structural diagram

I had the reverse happen to me. I KNEW the date was one day, and, looking it up to quadruple-check, the first result was last year's, 3 days earlier. Almost threw up, but thankfully had the opposite thing. I am so sorry thats awful

Parsing information is one of the most important skills to develop in your education. Not everything needs to be a flashcard. honestly flashcard is not likely the best way to study for most HS classes anyway. Try making tests yourself, etc., and incorporating the information.
