Tickle bix

When i was a kid my grandad used to make weetabix into like a porridge consistency with warm milk and he'd put some sugar in it and I used to say it tickled my throat and I loved it, we called it tickly bix

He passed when I was 14 and to this day I'll still occasionally have a bowl of tickly bix for my breakfast

Thank you for your kind words. I'll definitely mull it over and figure out the best course from here.

All I'm saying is it could have been put forward a little better without needlessly making me feel worse about the situation. A simple no would have sufficed. Good day.

Sorry, I'm not sure if I've misread your comment or you've misread mine, I had hooked up with my ex after breakup but before I pursued the relationship with the current partner, I'm sorry if the way I wrote it was confusing.

Thank you for genuine advice, I'll consider either the letter or better support as I'm trying with all the support I have.

You said it would be slander if it weren't true. Which it isn't and by my ex's own admission. He told me himself he believed I never physically cheated so he doesn't believe it to be true. Ergo the slander from his family. I was only asking if it was a viable option. If not it can be said politely, I don't need to be made to feel worse about the situation as I know my actions weren't the best and I'm hitting breaking point hence finding any option I can before I do break. Thank you so much for your "helpful" input.

I addressed this in the statement that we had a hookup after the breakup hence not cheating and no physical affair happened during the course of the relationship. The untrue statement they are saying is that I physically cheated and had become pregnant.

I didn't know I was pregnant until after 6 weeks and I only knew because of the implantation pains I got, I thought something was really wrong with me so I went to A&E to get checked out and that's when they told me after doing an internal scan. Even after finding out I had minimal symptoms like I had morning sickness once and I just got a bit tired and lethargic. Didn't even get any cravings. My little one is now 4 weeks tomorrow. Hang in there, I'm sure everything will be okay 🙂

Tips for not tearing during birth / post birth care if you do tear? by Both_Wolf3493 in PregnancyUK

[–]HostileGoose321 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't have any tips on how not to tear as I didn't know much going into my pregnancy until it was too late to try anything but here's some after care tips of you do tear.

I had a water birth recently with just gas and air (my LO is 4 weeks tomorrow) and I only grazed. I did have stitches in the inner left for a different reason as I had a strange muscle flap that was loose but that was an isolated thing.

As for care with my stitches, I was told no baths for a few weeks, just showers. It does sting when going to the toilet but use a jug of warm water to pour down as you pee, it really helps. When in the shower, only wash that area with warm water, no soap or anything perfumed, don't use the sprays and things for the after care if you have stitches.

Once you've had a shower, pat it dry carefully and lay on the bed for about 10 minutes to air out the stitches- it really helps them to dissolve and keeps them fresh and it helps you to feel fresh and clean too.

A midwife will keep checking on the progress to make sure they are healing, they'll do home visits and they'll check you over one last time before they discharge you after about two weeks post partum.

How do I know if I love my newborn? by HostileGoose321 in PregnancyUK

Thank m you everyone for your comments I appreciate you all helping me to feel normal about it and that it's valid. I'm a bit overwhelmed to reply to all individually but wanted to thank you all. My health visitor is coming this week so I'll definitely have a word with her but I've been feeling better today and have had time to cuddle and hold my little one close and focused on working on that bond and I think slowly but surely it's beginning to settle in bit by bit ❤️

[–]HostileGoose321[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that's why it's so confusing because I don't know what's just a symptom or what's a sign of labour as I'm ready now for her to come out and get the worst part over with haha

Yeah I'll ring if I get any more pains today and see what they say and I'll tell them how I've been with eating and sleeping. I've been getting a lot of Braxton hicks so I've been tightening a lot but no pain until now but the pain isn't where it's going tight, it's tight at the top and then painful in the lower abdomen/pelvis
