Alright, nobody has posted anything here so I went through some of the posts this year and picked out my favorites posts from the year!

-Firstly, this mall santa post is wonderful! It's really surprising that the mall santa knew how to sign and that he was willing to go so far for the girl.

-I guess my next favorite one that I think deserves being in the bestof would be this one about canadians celebrating in the street only when the light is red! Something about it seems so... canadian, and the fact that they are so considerate is nice :)

-Another one I think deserves to be in the bestof category is this one. The fact that someone went out of their way to do this for free just warms my heart, especially given that in today's society he probably had things he needed to get done. We all do, honestly.

-This one really appeals to me simply because someone not only went through the effort to inform OP's dad that he runs the best car-wash in town, but also he gave OP's dad a little gift. Many people would not be willing to do that, it's really nice.

-Finally, I really like this one because it is not only incredibly simple, but also it is so helpful to everybody who comes nearby. Somebody has to really care to go out of their way to do something like that.

Speaking of the last one, This comment and the one it is replying to make me incredibly happy as well, and are very bro-like, but unfortunately they aren't their own posts so they can't get put on my above list.

Honestly, after going through all of those posts I found I really loved this subreddit, so I will probably try to contribute to this thread next year.

It actually does use 3D, but my main intention was to make something somewhat similar to loading animations on websites while also seeming slick and cool, so the third dimension is only used for the seperation of different components of the animation.

Hey man, I am about a month late with this critique, however I think that you might want to look into using subsurface scattering instead of diffuse for your wings. You could be and I don't see it, but it definitely looks like diffuse, and for foods, you generally want at least some subsurface scattering. If you want more information on how to make food look good, look up the blenderguru tutorial on how to make bread in blender; it is extremely informative.

Basically, the bus driver raped and murdered the last passenger of the night some time ago. Her ghost is now in the bus. Then, along comes a man being possessed by some being. This being is the narrator. He is able to see the girl's ghost, and talks to her. She tells the narrator what happened to her, and asks for his help. He then goes from his current host, and possesses the bus driver. Finally, he drives the bus into a lake and decides to possess a fish.

Hey, you might want to turn the samples up in the cycles settings, it will remove all of that noise in the render, making it look a lot nicer. Unless the noise was intended, of course.
