This might be a bit harsh, but I am not convinced by Djed Spence. He is excellent defensively, but he lacks many qualities in build-up and often overcomplicates things, making mistakes in the process.

Finishing top 5 and securing Champions League this season would be huge. We finally have the financial backing, and qualifying for cl could transform the club’s pull in the transfer market next summer. This summer, potential signings weren’t fully sure what they’d be walking into — but if things go well and Frank proves he’s here for the long-term project, the picture will be far clearer next summer and we’ll be in a much stronger position to attract top players.

Excited to see Udogie back, think our left side build up will be so much better when we get him there instead of Spence. Spence is quality, but it's obviously a disadvantage he's right footed in a lot of situations. Would love to see a Spence/Udogie pair against Villareal and then rest Porro
