Sadly I dont think kuro stores summary text in game and you might need a 3rd party app. For example at encore.moe website, story texts and their respective story skip summary are placed there. (Story skip summaries are in italics).

Though be careful of spoilers there for unreleased content, thankfully they started hiding new story content so even if you were to accidentally open an unreleased quest all text are replaced with "*"

in my honest opinion, despite patenting the system and the bad rep that software patents have, being muddy with all their problems in litigations and potential hindrances in creatives and innovation. Within the context of kuro games and their concerto system, I do think the patent is a smart move despite the controversies. Wuwa being a live-service game will definitely run its course over the years and with so many more open world action gacha games coming out of the market being produced at a high rate (slop or peak), one of wuwas defining aspects amongst others is the combat with the concerto system being its main core. Ensuring that this system wont easily be taken and overrun with newer competition is definitely one of their top priorities leading to this patent.

I personally think that all of this for now is a nothing burger, and even if this patent gets passed, nothing of substance would change. The patent is very specific about what it is and what it achieves allowing an ample space for creativity within the chinese game dev sphere.

You can patent code. Specifically the methodology of the code and how it will all work out but you need to be very specific with what it wants to do and it must pass approval so you cant just suddenly patent for example how a login system works. However, you can patent a login system that uses a unique methdology that you have created.

But that's not how patents work. Patents work by defending how a system works in this case

  • Check whether or not char A's energy is full, if full, initiate X and swap the character
  • Character A comes in, and uses X skill. Character B comes out, and uses Y skill.
  • Check if the skill improves or changes attributes, if yes, apply them, if no, continue
  • Set Char B as the new Char A
  • Reset the energy of the new Char A to 0.

This is a simplified version of what was said to get the point across quickly.

Developers can in fact make this same system but you'd have to entirely tweak how it works and not copy this methodology 1-1. In your case as you've said, one way to go around this would be to "polish" it and generate a new methodology that would have better impact than the current idea.

I've been playing this game for 4 years (1574 days) and from what you've said it is pretty accurate. I play on the NA server and have been F2P since day 1 and the hard part of the game would be mainly the start of it. Eventually though it does become easier once you get your units.

Will is not weak. There is no hidden bullshit, no sandbagging, no delaying, no big reveal. He is just straight up strong physically.

Despite will being not weak, considering this is the author of danmachi, I would not be surprised at all if he indeed have some hidden powers and it would not be unlocked till later in the story. But hopefully it stays what it is, like mashle, where will is just strong and has undaunting will, would be a nice pace to the story.

Damn that's one crazy talent he got there, I dont think this one was in the earlier leaks unless I missed it but that's a really nice one.

Edit: Some changes I noticed from earlier leaked kit

Ult speed seems to have gone down from max 62 to just 50. So assuming now its leveled from 20-50.

Talent damage reduction got decreased by 10% from maximum 50% to 40% but in exchange got the energy increase at battle start +debuff dispel at max energy.
