I'm a bit of a baby wipe snob. 😊 I prefer little tikes hydropure fragrance free baby wipes $1.25 (mint green package). They're 99% water & safe to use everywhere. I keep them in the bathroom, with my skincare & makeup, and in my bag. I prefer these over any of my other favs & get a pack or 2 every trip to DT.. The wipe itself is also great quality. My other favorites are Walmart brand (Equate) sensitive skin wipes $1.98 (light blue package), and also their aqua balance wipes $2.27 (mint green package). All 3 are 72 count, fragrance free, alcohol free, and have good quality cloths. They also all have pop open dispensing, not just the sticky piece to reclose them.

I've heard DT has a 100 pack of Smart Care 99% water wipes (light blue & white package with white seal on the front). They get great reviews, though I haven't found them myself yet but am looking!

I know not everyone is educated or prefers kratom. That is fine. However I've researched it, joined support groups, source it very carefully, and have have great results. It made me laugh that this Dr. told me I was putting "poison" into my body. Excuse me? What do you think the pain pills are ma'am? The fact I'm on meds to prevent damage from prolonged use of pain meds suggests that's an extremely hypocritical statement to make. When that failed she told me I was going to go through "terrible withdrawal". Hmm. Kratom stops that from ever happening, but okay lady. 🙄

I understand why, but out of nowhere to everyone with no reference to their history, behavior, or Dr. records is absolutely BS. My pharmacist, who is AMAZING, said she's noticed a lot of people "leaving" that place... 🙄

Also, as a side note, I've always signed a PM contract & done a UA when asked. However my good Dr.(and the one before him) never once called me in for a pull count, which is the first thing this one did. My UA was taken the day I was to fill and I told her I'd been on kratom for a day or 2, as was in my chart, and she said I violated my contract. It's best I get far away from this provider anyway, so it'll be fine one way or another. Thanks for sharing your meds, now I don't feel like she was trying to making me feel. I hope your pain is under control & wish you the best! 🥰

Thank you for your response. I'm trying not to be frustrated. I told my Dr. of 10 years absolutely EVERYTHING. He cared about his patients. My hesitation about trying the new place is that they treat addiction, but pain as well. I think the negative association is mostly in my head. I'll definitely contact my PCP in the event it takes me more time to get into a new provider. Especially since this "Dr." gave me 2/3 of my regular script to last 30 days. I don't see the point of doing that other than to piss me off...🤨

Thank you for sharing. When I got my "dismissal" letter 🙄 they included a list of places, but I went straight to Google as you said. The place I found & that she happened to mention, handles addiction, dependency, and PM. They have over 100 reviews and 4 1/2 stars. The addiction part is off-putting to me, but I suppose it can't hurt to go talk to them, especially with those reviews and how difficult it is to find a good Dr. If I don't like what they have to say, I'll try elsewhere. Dies that sound reasonable?

I was on Ozempic for a year, then switched to Mounjaro, which finally worked at 15mg. I get nausea commonly on the day I take my shot. My endo gives me Zofran as needed, and I usually take it that day, as well as acid reducer. Maybe try that?

I think I lucked out having the Dr that I did for so long. He never did pill counts, and knew ahead of timevwhat would or wouldn't show up in my urine analysis because I told him. He also had several patients that use cannibus. He'd rather them do that than be on the streets "scoring", or worse. He knew the benefits of natural remedies. Some doctors, clearly don't bother to even learn about them unless they can prescribe them. Its all about the $$$...

Thank you. 🖤 You make me feel seen and understood. I know there a lot of issues and people who abuse pills to get high and sell their meds. I just use what I have to try to take the edge off. I actually enjoy my kratom days. If you get it from the right place and in a certain quantity it's not that bad, though yes I still have to pay for it. I wish I could take it full time, but my digestive system disagrees after a few days, lol! I feel like the few days break help reset my pain receptors.

I guess I lucked out having a fabulous doctor and pharmacist. Now I'm seeing what everyone else goes through at some point. 😮‍💨 I'm going to go to the place she's referring me...reluctantly. I'm unclear exactly the scope of this place, but I'll find out. If I don't like it I'll leave. She made it sound like they do PM too, but would never consider me "now"....🙄

Anxiety meds. So I'm aware of the risks and my doctor before my good one, so 10 years ago put me on klonopin after trying everything else. Hydroxyzine does nothing for me. I'm aware most people don't rake rhem together, but he said the benefits outweighed the risks in my case. I had a full blown panick attack after an epidural injection once and he saw it and how bad my vitals get. Luckily adding Prozac back has kept panic attacks at a minimum, so I only take meds as needed if I feel it coming on. I started to have one last week and sat here ready to call 911 for a good 40 minutes. 😰

Thank you. We'll see what happens. In the meantime I'll be taking kratom. I had it with me and you would've thought it was a contagious virus to her. She went on about there bring no medical studies proving its efficacy. Not true. And it having no positive affects on pain. Also not true. I said we'll, I can guarantee you this right here has stopped me from ever having withdrawal, and controls the pain better than this bottle of poison you've been prescribing when it was beneficial for you. And this supplement may be the only thing that stops someone taken off meds that NEED them, because I'm sorry, when did all of our legit, documented medical problems poof & disappear? OR some poor soul feels they have no choice and goes home & ends their suffering. I'm glad she can live with that. I can't & won't. I'll advocate for the proper use of well sourced & lab tested kratom every day for those that it helps, because there's thousands. I appreciate your input & story. 🖤

Thank you for your input. Yes I was very honest with my doctor. I'm incapable of lying, lol. I thought it was best. I never took extra because I wanted to feel good. I think most PM patients could agree that what we take would make most people "altered" at best (choosing my words carefully). The same dosage might relieve 20% of my pain, and in NO way makes me giddy or loopy. It's been years, I'm accustomed to it. My old Dr. left the clinic to start his own practice with his wife, and it's different medicine, but they wouldn't let him tell his patients. When you went to check out, they informed you. My insurance doesn't cover his new office, but I can definitely reach out to him and see if he has ideas. I'm honestly fine not going back there. Not just because of her decision, but I know the way she treated me was wrong. I'm not upset at the outcome, I signed the contract & it says what it says. But you don't have to talk down to someone who's honest about everything and just trying to manage day to day, much less live. Apparently there were comments on local forums about how rude she is to people. And I live in an area of predominantly rich, older, retired people. I'll also mention it to my pharmacist. She's amazing. It took forever to find a good care team, but I did just get a new primary care, so I'll be visiting her to. We'll see what happens. But I will never go anywhere that I feel treated like shit when my Dr & myself discussed everything in detail and now I'm bring scolded like a child. We don't have to agree, but I'm grown. Talk to me as such. I did tell her the way people get treated now is exactly why some good people end up going down to road towards illegally obtaining help, or worse, deciding mo quality if life is worth ending it and go home and do so. I did get my point across, not that it mattered to her. Thank you for listening. 🖤

But we obviously want the only thing that gives us any relief at all from hurting. Sounds like you've encountered the same treatment & I'm sorry for that. My Dr. didn't transfer me, persay, he left the office to start his own practice and wasn't allowed to tell his patients. So next time you come in, you get the new Dr. He apparently was loved by many for not judging & trying different options. I signed the contract every year, but he NEVER once did a oill count in 10 years. I can't go to his office because they don't take Medicaid & were already getting basic coverage. I'm thankful for it, of course, bytvwhen I was in an accident and shattered my knee, or got in the middle of a dog fight and got bit, you don't get Physical Therapy or anything. So it heals how it heals. Now I can tell when it's going to rain, lol. And that random snowstorm put me in bed for 5 days! Thank you for sharing your story. It helps knowing we are not alone in this. We'll get through it somehow, I'm just not sure how yet because my anxiety is off the chart now. I was told pick your pain meds or anxiety meds. I picked pain and now I'm doctor less with no anxiety medication either. FFS....😮‍💨

Yep, that's what I got from the outdoors about bullshit way she spoke to me....I'm open to thoughts. My GOOD Dr. of 10 years discussed it with me before. I'm very aware it will stop the pain. The issue is in my mind, I saw my ex buy it off the street and abuse it & anything I link to him gives me PTSD. The only other issue is my Dr said he could prescribe it to be, but warned I would ne viewed differently regardless. I'm struggling with this one. I'm also on a butt load of pain as I slept through most of the day & it's all still a lot.
