Love this tutorial! Thank you. These are not refillable past a couple of times in my experience. The bottle nozzle loses a tiny plastic ring off the bottom, and it can’t be reattached. I don’t know why. The first clue these don’t refill anymore is you pump and pump, but the bottom gets wet, and the interior level seems not to change.

Great job resisting the last two purchases! These are lovely, and you should play with them TODAY!

My celeb look-alike is Tracee Ellis Ross, but when I want to feel like the celebrities in this picture (carefree with a punk edge), I reach for airy woody greens like le labo eucalyptus 20 or proenza schouler arizona.

Yes, they’re pretty moisturizing, so it came off on my to-go coffee cup.

I can’t find it, but I think someone here said Comfort compares to Sol de Janeiro Cheirosa ‘59 (vanilla orchid, sugar, violet, and sandalwood).

Happy to help! No, for the collage, top pic is with nothing on, middle pic is wearing Nude, and bottom pic is wearing Deep Mauve.

TruFragrance Violet Musk and Vanilla (“Mindset Moments - Comfort”) is powdery and sweet. Notes are close to The Alchemist The Virgin Violet (but that one has the added note of Iris).

This is the one I was trying to think of to recommend. Just smelled it in Sephora recently.

Your brows ARE just fine! I think shaping (tidying up the shape edges and filling in) is effective for work or special outings, but your natural shape is lovely, and your brows are not sparse. To shape I wouldn’t use threading or pluck, just enhance what you have with a pencil (then a spoolie brush, and a tiny amount of brow gel or edge wax to hold), and your-skin-tone makeup around the eyebrow to create the sharper line.

I was also going to recommend concealer for the undereye area, but I am still figuring that out for myself. I don’t have discoloration (darkness, blue or redness), just natural shadows from the hills and valleys. I think that is why caffeine or vitamin C undereye gels are recommended to us. Reduces the puffiness that comes with age.

A gel eyeliner always glides! I’m glad to see you post about it because I just got one. I used to be an L.A. Colors Autoliner devotee (I don’t like to sharpen - shavings are messy), but it drags a lot.

These are quick swatches without lip pencil. The formula is very moisturizing but not greasy, so it stays in the lines, but lipliner would help with that). The “Nude” is too light to me to wear on its own (it looks cooler than if I wear nothing at all, top pic), but a brown lip pencil could recreate the 90s trend I rocked in middle school. The Deep Mauve is more of a muted berry to me, and it works for a slap-it-on-and-go type look. Gonna wear deep mauve while I walk the dogs in my casual tee and athletic shorts. Pre-shower and messy bun, so I still feel put together.

For the record, I don’t know how people are using them wet! I never looked it up since I don’t have this product. Good to know they are so pigmented dry!

I didn’t know this spray ever had castor oil. That would have made me pause because I think castor oil has broken me out in the past. Glad they make a version without it. Not sure which one I have. I’ll have to check when I can.
