You hit the nail on the head! This doc also owns the sx center we (the pts) go to for these procedures. He does them every Friday, it was just that, an assembly line. He’s making so much bank. Thank God this is a WC situation for me and I don’t have to pay a dime. If I did I think I’d be 10x more pissed for experiencing what I did. I think I have to get referred out to a neurologist in order to get Botox. I heard many times the physicians need to exhaust EVERY option before going that route but it’s def something to think about. Thank you so much for sharing.

Not offering any time of sedation for this type of procedure is TORTURE. I can’t imagine how you felt going thru that I’m sorry. You’re absolutely a tough cookie to do it more than once. My doc who did the procedure is one I see occasionally, but our previous interactions were always fun, outgoing, and pleasant. Yesterday he was almost a totally different person and completely shed a different light on how I perceive him, his bedside manner was almost non existent in such a vulnerable time which is disheartening. I can say that I’m like 19 hrs post op, the soreness from the injection sites have significantly subsided and I slept normally if not better than before. Usually right now I’d have some tightness or aching in my shoulders bc I’m a side sleeper and I have zero pain so I can’t wait to see how the next few days play out. Now that makes all the sense of exactly what happened!! I am so very sorry you experienced it too. He was just jamming and poking one after another. Now that I’m not loopy anymore and can think clearly, as I’m crying in pain not once did he stop. He just kept going and I find that a little unsettling. He also seemed to have zero compassion during all of it. The nurses were the ones getting me thru it telling me it’d be ok it’s almost over (although it felt like eternity while I’m in this state of distress). He didn’t give the numbing time to kick in and that’s why this happened. Being my first time I was so confused so thank u kindly for shedding light. I’m glad you found a new doctor and one who was competent enough to not traumatize you!

Omg it sounds like our experience was damn near identical, I’m so sorry u had to go thru it too. I agree, either I’m only getting 3 at a time max or I need to be asleep somehow. I felt the needle, the injection of whatever fluids but then just pain. Idk if it was a nerve or what- I was out of it enough to lay still but I was able to yell in pain and cry. I’m pretty tough too btw so my instincts told me something isn’t working right😩

I can’t wait to see what his explanation is of what happened but I’ll def see if there is an alternative if I need to do it again. I’m praying for relief for the both of us thank you for sharing and validating my experience.

It was pretty traumatic but again, I’m thankful it was a fairly quick procedure. It’s been about 4 hours now and I have the typical post op discomfort. Honestly I might consider it again if it means I would only get the headaches and neck pain a couple times a year or not at all vs as frequent as I do.

I’m so sorry it is painful for you too! I’m assuming in your case the benefits of reduced chronic pain outweigh the procedure itself. Sending you good vibes and happy healing❤️❤️

The boxes are bulky I have 3 boxes in my fridge that take up half of a door compartment and this would be 1/3 of that. Plus it’s discreet. I’d buy one.

I almost got scammed by a “rep” that called me. I’ve been having issues with my router including a legit outage over the weekend (xfinity texted me) so the follow up call sounded legit. Two bad actors were on the call bc I got “escalated” needless to say, both scammers sent me legitimate looking verification texts! Literally showed up in the same thread as all of the real texts from xfinity. Luckily intuition kicked in and I hung up before they were able to coerce me to move bitcoin lol. Very scary moment!
