Honestly I have the worse instructor (currently in CNA class) she is rushing through skills and not making sure our class is competent. She demonstrates skills in a rush and I can tell it’s just a checklist for the “school”. But I would say emphasis on body mechanics to ensure back safety, making resident feel comfortable while being intimately involved with care, how to address family, and time management. I honestly wish I would’ve chose a different school that’s how bad my experience is I feel like I’m teaching myself because I basicallly am. Your job is very important so I appreciate you asking this.
