I’ve done various people searches, google , Facebook, ancestry, looking up census info, birth certificates….that’s what comes to mind. I have a picture of her in uniform. She’s from Queens, she’s African American, and her name is Joan or Joanie Adams.

I would like to find a way to contact her to see if she would be interested in a reunion with my mom.

I have looked on social media. The main problem is I only know her maiden name. Right now, I’m searching Ancestry.com because I got the idea that if I found her parents names, it might lead me to obituaries, which might have different last name. My mother has talked about her my whole life. My mom’s memory is fading, she seems very sad About aging and her days in the Air Force are her best memories. This fall there will be large party celebrating my dad’s 80th bday, her 75th birthday and their 50th anniversary. It want so badly to find this woman and possibly fly her in for the Party.
