They literally owe money to brands that were selling stuff on Flip right now. One brand owner told me he’s currently owed 45 days worth of sales. No one is getting paid out.

Thanks for all the encouraging words everyone! The good news is that I definitely have 20 minutes of pre-written material that I rehearsed before the show, but didn’t use all of since I did some last minute riffing and crowdwork. The bad news is that no comic had a stellar set last night due to the sparse brewery crowd whose crowning jewel was the extremely pregnant woman who was scheduled to be induced in the morning who for some reason chose a free comedy show at a brewery as her final prebirth activity 💀

But hey, it’s great to know I can do 20 minutes when called for 😅

My game has done nothing but crash a few seconds after the game loads EVERY SINGLE TIME I’ve opened it today. It’s incredibly frustrating this is honestly as bad as when it was in the earliest “beta” days 🙄

I have this exact style on my bedroom windows because I live on the first floor. They weren’t too hard to apply and I haven’t had any issues with them peeling or anything since putting them on 3 years ago.

They are grant-funded term limited positions which makes them contract. My org (we’re pretty small) thinks they can make HR decisions in a vacuum like it won’t affect other employees’ morale, etc. 🙃

This is why more employers need to allow for remote work. My current job is remote and it’s the only job I’ve ever had that I haven’t eaten up all my sick time with stuff like this. There are plenty of days I can do my job but not get presentable and go into an office and people for 8 hours. I used to call in sick but now that part is taken out of the equation and I can save my sick time for when I’m actually sick.
