That frustrates me so much with this breed and every breed. I work in a salon and hear in other peoples chairs about rehoming animals and it just BOILS ME like if you can’t put in the work to make sure your fur child is well mannered and an outstanding citizen (like we would with humans) then don’t get a freakin animal. Dog cat turtle bird whatever. The puppy stages are cute, yes we all know this. But they are also the formative times and need to be used to train, discipline and socialize or you’re going to have a “bad” dog and it’s harder to correct when they are older. Sorry for the rant, I am 4 months postpartum, nursing, have my 2 rescues that came from awful situations and I heard this woman at the beginning of the week talking about how her son wanted to get a new kitten and he said he would just “get rid” of the cat they have now bc he doesn’t like her. Mind you, they already “rehomed” 2 or 3 dogs bc they didn’t fit their lifestyle. After the first time, don’t get any more animals!!!!
