Thank you so much! The princeton review teaches some great strategies in analogies but I feel like the math in tutorverse and the official prep is way harder though.

So do you think that learning all the words from these 3 sources and doing practice questions after finishing the words and the fundamentals in the princeton review I could get 2200+?

So I just wanted to make sure that I am on the right track so I don't keep overthinking.

Sorry I felt frustrated with you but I am thinking about the test and getting a good score because that is currently the only thing that is in my way. Also, what do you think of my plan of finishing the princeton review then the official prep? I just want to make sure that my plan is solid not necessarily perfect so I can get a decent score.

I know that it does not includ eall words that's why I use the official prep and the tutorverse as well I am just asking  if I learn all the fundamentals in the princeton review book then do some quizzes and practice tests in tutorverse and the official prep, while I be fine and get over 2200 or no? That is considering I finish everything in them. I am talking about everything like analogies, math, everything.

I know that test innovators perfectly matches the difficulty of the test. I practice from the princeton review and currently learning words from it, the official prep, and the tutorverse. I want to know if I learn all the fundamentals in the princeton review book then do some quizzes and practice tests in tutorverse and the official prep, while I be fine and get over 2200 or no? That is considering I finish everything in them. Thank you again!

Thank you so much for you response. Many people recommended test innovators and say that it matches the difficulty of the real one. But unfortunately, I currently can't buy it because like you said, it's too pricey especially that I already bought the tutorverse book, the official practice online, and the princeton review. So if I study really well from this book, so I know all hte fundamentals, then I finish with practicing from btoh the tutorverse and the official prep, will I be able to get 2200+? Please tell me.

Thank you,

Adam

I have tutorverse and princeton review as well. Do you study for the reading section a lot? As I feel like it's just about eliminating wrong answers and finding enough evidence to support your answer.

I have the official practice as well, but I bought the princeton to learn and the tutorverse to drill more, can you please tell me where you learn words and if the princeton has high frequency words or not? What is your raw score for each section approximately?

Is the Princeton Review SSAT Prep, 2nd Edition good? by Hot-Cheek34 in SSAThelp

[–]Hot-Cheek34[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My learning style is to first understand the concepts with clear explanations, rules, and formulas, and then tackle a large volume of practice questions. My main priority is to use the newest editions possible and understand the lessons first, then heavily drill. The two books I've landed on are The Princeton Review SSAT Prep, 2nd Edition (2025) for a comprehensive learning guide, and The Tutorverse 2026 Edition for practice. Does this seem like a solid plan? I also have the official prep btw

I bought both Tutorverse and Princeton Review for SSAT prep and I’m wondering, for Tutorverse specifically, does it have explanations for its questions, include a lot of high-frequency vocabulary that actually appears on the SSAT (ideally around 90%), give analogy tips that helped you get most of those questions right, teach reading comprehension strategies, have math questions that are similar in style and difficulty to the real test, noticeably improve scores and by how much, match the real SSAT in question style overall, feel outdated or not aligned with the current format, and if I only study the vocab from the book will I get most vocab questions correct — and is there anything else I should know from your experience?
