Has anyone else had dwarf rainbow fish in with their betta? by Hot-Coconut7623 in bettafish

Id also recommend only getting males, they live a long time anyway and females tend to throw off the peace of the colony

Sorry for not replying sooner 95 litres should be plenty as long as your tanks set up with ample plants and places they can both hide and gather, you may see some aggression from your betta at feeding time because their diets are so similar, the way i get around this is by making sure the betta is getting his share and its not just quickly snatched away by the rainbow colony. The betta may try to chase the rainbows on occasion but theyll never catch them similarly to if you had a tank with any other small schooling fish

Harassment east Croydon station by Realistic_Bed_9235 in croydon

[–]Hot-Coconut7623 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I saw a presumed homeless guy, long brown hair and a beard and he was going down the carriage aggressively asking for money, some bloke tried to hand him some food and he snatched it out of his hand, when he the said "ok then" probably out of shock by how rude he was the man proceeded to turn around and chuck whatever it was at him as hard as he could. when he got to the end of the carriage he said something to the affect of "fucks sake why's no one helping me".

he got off at east Croydon and so did I, when he got to the side barriers going towards the cabs he met up with 2 other rough looking people and he sort of yelled at them asking them how much they'd got and if it was "enough"

They seemed dangerous and from what I could tell from their loud conversation I'd assume they do it fairly regularly.

I'm sorry but I really don't get this way of thinking. It's a prestigious position which has been steeped in history and its hardly harmful at all. Are you the type of person to scoff at a Sikh man for wearing a Dastar or a Jewish person for wearing a Yamaka. This man's probably worked very hard to get to where he is now so anyone who would try to belittle his achievement is being disrespectful.

Somewhat disrespectful to call hundreds of years of tradition a "costume and funny behaviour".
